I haven't been watching any of the other games but I've seen the scores and a lot of them look like complete blowouts. At least the Oilers/Wings games are close.

If I can get the time off, I'm certainly going to try and catch a Marlies game. You should take the plunge and see the Gladiators, too. It's the closest that either of us will be getting to playoff hockey this year.

The Thrashers came from behind twice to beat the Bruins 4-3. Their playoff hopes are still barely alive! I also saw my first penalty shot (Savard-no goal). Tremendous!
John Smoltz pitched a 4 hit shut-out as the Braves beat the Padres 2-0. Andruw Jones made about 3 amazing plays in the outfield. Smoltz made one great defensive play himself.
