Okay, I am such a nutball. I was so happy to read your message - it really meant a lot! - and then I completely flaked out and never responded. I'm really sorry! So...here's my message that I should have written a week and a half ago, plus a little extra:

We are loving the new apartment, no matter that it's in the ugly, cramped "unpacking stage". Sadly, I've only been to Fuji Ya three times - hubby doesn't like Japanese and he gets these all-body shudders when I mention sushi. So, I've gone out a few times with friends and left Mr. Snarky Pants at home. I haven't been to Origami, but it sounds like it's worth checking out.

I'm probably not being sent down to New Orleans to help with the relief effort (see my acerbic journal entry for more details, lol).

And Yes! I still need a camera AND a photographer for my next set! If you're interested, I'd like to hang out sometime (sushi, maybe?

). I have some ideas for new photosets, but I need someone to bounce them off of other than hubby (he's getting to the "that's great, honey" point for all my photoset ideas - ZERO constructive criticism).

How goes the search for employment? Have you joined the ranks of us 8-5 drones yet?

You know I've been having the weirdest dreams lately, too. Last night I dreamt hubby and his mom made up this psycho serial killer team, ala House of 1000 Corpses. Nice, huh? The night before that I dreamt something about belonging to this gang of crime-fighters. We were like the chameleon/reptile guy from Monsters Inc, only instead of being able to just blend into the environment, we were able to change the entire environment's color/appearance as well as our own. I remembered I changed this macho homophobic jerk's skin pink and lavendar. I wish I remembered more of the dream, because it was so much fun - I should start keeping a dream journal.
