I had sciatica for a long time and had been taking Aleve most mornings long after I stopped having pain - I finally stopped the Aleve a couple of weeks ago and still no pain! *knocks on wood* Not quite the same as what happened to you, but it was excruciating at the time - back problems suck. Keep getting better, so you can climb again, and whatever other awesomeness you want to get into.

those back injuries come back to haunt you later in life. i know, i lost count at 7. get a back support belt. muscles in that area remain weak for some time. a donut helps when sitting down
