This ladies and gentlemen is how far you can push photography without a timer, everything is at arms length because it's my own magickal finger that hits the trigger every time. The only parallel that I could draw is that I know pianists and keyboard/synth players will occasionally get really huffy if you suggest that playing piano is the same as playing keyboards. To them, the different response of the keys makes for a completely distinct playing experience - so much so that they must be considered distinct instruments. I'm not good enough at either, I suppose, to really appreciate the difference. It's all just music to me.

I completely know that blah feeling. I had that last week. I work in a job that is completely opposite from what I graduated for. And at first it was a p/t gig to get into the industry (radio). But now I'm f/t doing nothing near to what I want, at a different station than I started at, so it's not even the format I like, but I suppose it's money. I just plan to work as much longer as I can take it, horde some money, and go from there. Had that same feeling the other day too. All I wanted to do was go home, wasn't happy or sad, just tired and blah. I didn't even have anything to do at home, so it was even more blah. Oh well.
I hope you are no longer blah when you finally read this! Or at least less blah. And yes, Jack Off Jill are pretty cool. They're almost a female marilyn manson. The singer is in a new band called . Scarling
