Obviously, because Im in a similar situation, my heart screams "go go go!", but my head feels like somethings off. If he loves you (which I am NOT in any way doubting) why wouldn't be want you there? I mean, I get that work is busy and what not. But, everyone needs a break. Everyone needs some downtime. I'm all for long distance relationships, but as much as I firmly believe that love conquers all, I don't think the relationship can survive without seeing each other atleast once, for atleast a few days. Running away to Cali every couple months, for even just a weekend, is what keeps me sane.

Tell him you don't want to just invade his space, but in order for the relationship to work, you need to have some time together. I mean, is he planning on moving back? Follow your heart honey. sorry sweetie but in California fighting a ticket is a losing battle. I've tried on many occasions. Do yourself a favor check if they have a course online to take. It's easy answer ten questions and your done and it won't go on your record for a first offense..Godd luck
