Well I heard back from Financial aid on Friday.. they denied my application for Summer aid and canceled my aid (future). I can "try" to get Fall aid if I got good enough grades in the classes during the summer - which I point out ended this week, but no grades have been posted yet so I'm not even sure where I stand...

So I found out why the Analysis of Algorithms class is so hard: Math 341 used to be a requirement but was recently dropped (apparently to make things "easier").

that's the worst. When I was in highschool the government changed the whole high school curriculum around, and removed a whole entire year of school without moving that whole year's worth of course material into other classes. When I moved from highschool to university, the first year university math classes were the same as they had always been, and no consideration was made for those of us who were just missing a whole entire course. It was the worst.
I hope you find something to help! I was fortunate enough to know someone who had the textbook from the course I was missing.

Two weeks later and I finally finished writing a petition for financial aid... *ugh* this crap drains me! I know this isn't how it works, but IMO if I have two bad quarters in a row I shouldn't loose all financial aid, just the grants. I think the loans should still be available.
