NO shit. The divisive politics of hatred and discrimination were the key to winning. But you have to admit-- the Dems just bent over again and took it up the wazoo. (Contrary to the beliefs of the moderates, I'm of the mind that as long as they keep trying to look like Republicans, keep propping up dull, middle-ground candidates, they will lose.)

I remember thinking during the last election, that John Kerry could have really drilled Bush at a certain point by asking him "at what point did you choose?" But of course, he missed the opportunity.
