Yikes, benefits. I get to learn all about those again this week. I've been without insurance for well over a year and it sucks. You could always opt out, but that's almost as scary as having to eat Ramen noodles every day until you find a better job

I am as unofficially employed as it is possible to be. I have to pass a drug test, which is not a problem in the least, and prove that I can lift 25 lbs or something stupid like that. After that, though, I believe I will finally be official

what you need is my grandpa's flu remedy. he was a doctor, but swore by certain home cures. he would have us take a warm shower, then bundle up in jammies or sweats, making sure to wear a hat and socks. then we'd have a hot brandy with honey and lemon, and wrap up in blankets. you need to keep very warm while doing this (the shower is to help elevate your body temperature), and when I do it I don't wash my hair because it's too hard to keep warm that way. I promise you will sweat a lot of the toxins out of your system. works okay with whiskey, too, but doesn't taste as good. you'll be uncomfortable during the treatment, but you'll get over your sickness faster.

So I have finished my finals. All three done.
All I have to do is finish my service learning (going to an elementary school classroom) and put together so stuff for my inquiry and comp. class and I'm done! Either way totally done by Friday!
