I'm finding more and more in life that the way you present yourself to someone, the way you feel inside, the vibe you put out, is somehow picked-up by others. Call it ESP, Psychic-energy, or whatever you want...but it is there! The way you think and feel has a direct result on your life.
Lemme guess, whenever Derek is around, you get this "he's-so-great-and-I'm-not-as-great" feeling, right? But with "Blue-eyes" I'm guessing you had a sort of "mister-I'm-going-to-be-the-best-thing-that-ever-happened-to-you" kind of vibe, right? I bet if you think about it, you really were.
Try to think of yourself as the best thing to ever happen to Derek! It can't hurt, can it?

As I was saying, I have to agree with you. It has to be the town you live in. 'Cause I can think of dozens of people (myself included) who'd give anything to be with you.
I kinda know what you're going through...there' s only two women in my life I can think of, right off the top of my head, that I want to be serious with. One already has a serious relationship, and the other does'nt think I'm good enough for anything other than friendship. That makes me so fucking mad!!! I'd rather she ignore me...sorry for venting.
Anyway, don't worry. You're too damn adoreable to be lonely for long.
