I hate cold weather! It's the first snow of the season, and although it looks pretty, cold weather makes me sad
Anyway, I was looking through some old notebooks that I haven't looked at since high school (shudder) and I found a Christmas poem that I wrote in 10th grade. Thought I'd post it for lack of something better to write:
"Wish You Were Here"...

Well, not much going on today. I may have found a job! It'll only be holiday help, but it's better than nothing. I think I'm coming down with a cold.
I'm just going to lay around and drink tea. Fun, fun, fun!
Oh, I added some new pics too!

Thank you, yours is soon
Well, the job hunt sucks. Nobody is hiring at all. Anyway, after spending all day putting in apps, I am now sitting here doing absolutly nothing. If you're on AIM hit me up.

So, be sure to take this in a friendly spirit, and remember that if you ask several photographers, you will get some (or a lot of) difference in opinions.
You're right about the lighting. Bleah! There are a zillion different options, though, so look at a bunch of sets and try to figure out what each photographer did and whether you'd like to try it.
Better makeup. Maybe I should say different makeup. I'm not the person to ask about this, so find a photographer who can give you suggestions.
You could get rid of the bed entirely and do a plain "girl in the corner" or "against a wall" shoot. You can have a set for your shoot, or not. It would be worthwhile to experiment without one.
Get rid of that diffuser on the lens, or whatever is causing that foggy look. If you need a soft focus or contrast-reducing effect, do it in Photoshop.
The camera needs to move much more - photos from above, below, near, far, different angles. Consider changing lenses, zoom, f-stop, and so on during the shoot - but not so much that the photos don't tie together.
You have a happy, friendly look and a good variety of expressions - try to come up with as many as you can. Don't forget playful and silly. You also have a pretty good variety of poses, but try more.
You'll make a great model. Keep trying! I hope to see more (photos - :blush
and I'm sure other people do too.
Hope this is helpful. :

Well, my first photoset was rejected, but if at first you don't succeed, try again!
I posted a few pics from the set in my photos. (I accidently put them in reverse order, but oh well). Any suggestions are appreciated!

I think you had some really good poses and using the boa is a good idea for a prop. It's a very sexy set. I guess the only suggestion i have beyond better lighting is that in a couple of the shots there is a lot of blank space. 15 and 13 are very sexy poses, but there isn't enough focus on you because of the large proportion of empty space. They would make an awesome photo if you could zoom in more, orient the camera vertically, or have an interesting background that fits with your theme. did you shoot this set yourself with a camera on a tripod? Having someone else do the photography can help a lot with composition isues like that. Then there is a lot more flexibility in distance from the camera and the orientation of the picture. I hope that helps.
Oh, and you have very sexy eyes (see photo above
) You should deffinately get a couple close ups of your face.
I just read the post above. You probably have already know this, but in many threads the staff has consistantly asked that you do not photoshop any of the pictures before submitting it. They can fix contrast problems and the raw images are much easier for them to work with.

haha i was extremely happy this morn
I'm sad to say that I just woke up. My master plan of getting up early and dropping off resume's didn't quite work out. But it's not like I can't do it tomorrow, right?
Anyone want to trade right nipples for a day? My boyfriend's little girl accidently kicked me in my recently re-pierced nipple yesterday and it hurts like a bitch.
hmmm.....no takers? Oh...

Good luck with the job hunt! I was there a few months back. Don't give up!
Well, I know I haven't been here for very long (one day actually) I can't sleep so I thought I'd go ahead and do another journal entry. I quit my job today, and I think it just hit me that I actually HAVE NO JOB. It's a little disturbing. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find another shitty job somewhere.
Hmmm....in other news I haven't heard...
