Kick ass! Enjoy life on the playa. So many of my dearest homies are going to be there AGAIN. Was finally going to go, but then an important trial got set right in that time frame, for lack of any other workable dates. Too many attorneys, so little fun among them.
It must feel liberating to just punt on building the dome, even if the building of it promises to be a ball, and its being there a cool thing. Sometimes it feels so beautiful to just cut loose from some self-imposed duty or obligation, though.

A Scanner Darkly is a very dark movie. I'm not really into those. The style was cool though. I don't really like to entertain bad energy, even when it is just a dark movie or a scary book. I think everything around us is cumulatively affected by will and the intention of everyone as a whole. Project to the good and there is stronger energy...

I personally tend to lean towards movies that have make me think and/or philosophize, even if it's a cheesy blockbuster superhero-type movie that has one well thought line in the whole 2 hour thing. Dark/creepy/scary stuff has entertainment value, but I have to be in a mood where my brain is willing to shut down.
$140 in sand and many gallons of water later we begin the second round of our pool. What a crazy endeavor, who would have known!? We went back to Home Depot twice and a sand lot twice as we leveled out our yard. It looks like it is filling evenly now but what a day! We're drinking Sparks and riding around on our inflatable police...

I can't really tell myself, but by the sounds of it I hope your cat will be feeling better very soon. People need to respect the responsibilites of being a dog owner, so as unpleasant as it is that you have a neighbour that isn't willing to feel apologetic, let alone pay what she's legally responsible for, at least you know you're in the right.
