Ooooh... busy week! I can't believe it's Thanksgiving already!

And so it is that I find my self in damn near the same situation as I was last year - working the online tarot site and as a cam girl. I'm actually really enjoying the cam stuff this time, though - I'm learning a lot, which is awesome. I love learning, that's for sure, and...

This weekend has kinda blown. I'm feeling so frustrated with everything right now. Money, hunny, me... I just... ugh. My spirituality isn't where it needs to be, I'm getting ZERO work on the tarot site, we need money to pay rent, I keep GAINING weight even though I'm eating better. I decided to try some self portraits today and they are just SO hideous -...

No, Kali is her first name.
Both my girls are named after goddesses. Kali is named after the Hindu goddess Kali. And Lily, (Lilith) is named after Lilith.

I love you honey. You know if you ever need to vent, I'm here for you.

LOL - I just noticed last Friday was the 13th! Bummer I missed it - drat!

So, busy week! I made my first Etsy sale of a panel belt - so excited! And it was a really pretty one, too. Also put another one together, this time in purple and I really like it! Learned a bit about sewing and the like during the week,...

Oh boy. SO busy doing absolutely nothing! Had a major cold last week - started feeling sick on Samhain - that totally sucked. I think I have a sinus infection now but I SO don't feel like heading to urgent care - even though I can 'check in' on the internet and they'll call me when they have an exam room for me (how freaking...

Does melatonin help you sleep at all? Melatonin is a hormone, produced by the pituitary gland, and it promotes a deep, refreshing sleep. Unfortunately, the older we get, the less is produced, yet we still need about 8 hours! Lots of factors can interfere with the production of melatonin. Stress, I think, which you seem to have a lot of. 3 mg is a standard dose, but I have seen it in 5 mg doses. Sounds like you could use a 5 mg dose (tablet). Check with your doc for any contraindications to melatonin, then go to the local drugstore and get some. It's not horribly expensive, and worth a try.
Stress like this will raise your blood pressure _and_ your cholesterol levels _and_ lower the effectiveness of your immune system _and_...need I go on? You'll need at least 3 days of down time to fully recover from this.
Go on, now. Make that phone call to the doctor, go get some melatonin and tonite, around sundown, take a tab. It'll take about 20 minutes to kick in. Turn off the lights, the radio/tv, do your bedtime routine, and then get _in_ bed. You need this!!

So, keepin' busy! That yard sale totally sucked. Not only did icky-creepy strangers talk to me, but they were also pretty dang rude, too. We still have the vast majority of our stuff AND we only made $36 bucks! Luckily, I sold a couple hip scarves on Friday for $30, but it still isn't enough to pay rent. Hubby's gonna try to sell the TV,...

They look good. I wish I had the money to get one. I'm in a really tight money spot too. It may take a little time if you're only selling them on etsy. I've been reading up on it for a while, and as with any business it takes time. I'll cross my fingers for you that you sell them soon to try to make the money you need. You might be able to list them (and the other things as well) on craigslist to see if you can get a bite.

I do understand about SG being one of the only places you really feel like you can be yourself. That's one of the reasons when my membership expired, I came back again. There is such a great community here. I can be myself and actually have people reply to me... I've had very few people ever reply on any of them, and here I actually get feedback.

Ahhhh... I'm starting to get the impression that I'm doing too much at once! Yard Sale, tarot reading, magic tutorials, magic itself, studying shamanism, running my household, and juggling everything! Blech!

And I would like to add - photography, watercolors, sewing (SUPER cute belts!), shopping for a new deck, listening to music more often, getting caught up on my TV shows, watching movies, relaxing, maybe?...

Oh my! Do you _have_ to do it all, all at once? I'm afraid your energies and attention will become so diluted, you won't be effective at any of them. You won't have time for hubby, either, and that's a recipe for trouble.
Seriously, pick one or two and put the others on the back burner.
Shell Essences? Well, it's perfectly good gasoline, but I wouldn't deliberately put it on my skin... smile

I hear you, love.
I am going crazy with how much is going on! (School, homeschooling/raising 2 kids, sewing 2 gowns, and my bath and body business.) I have a few things I want to add to that too. The gowns need to be done by Friday night, so I'm not going to add anything else till next week.

What you might want to do is swtch back and forth with some of your hobbies. One week add in the sewing while listening to music and take out one of the others, the following week catch up on shows... etc... Then you get done the things that are important AND get to rotate some, so you get to do some of the other things you like as well. smile

So... things went from bad to worse pretty quickly. Shortly after my last blog entry, my hunny and my dad got into fisticuffs with each other. It was really horrible! Hunny's meds were completely off and my dad decided to get physical at the name calling stage. So, since I'm still with my hunny, my entire family has ostracized me and won't have anything to...

Kind of. LOL!
I'm looking forward to some of it being over (my sewing project and the magazine) so I can have more time to focus on the rest, (Natural Bohemian and school). But one step at a time... I know things are going to keep coming up, so I'm just trying to learn to multi-task. LOL!
joemallik:
Fat? Ah, don't worry too much about it. Some people are just genetically that way, and there's not much you can do about it. I knew a woman once, whose (new) doctor started getting on her case about her weight. She said, "Doctor, I can swim a half mile without stopping." He shut up about it. So, fat does not necessarily mean unhealthy! I recommend water aerobics as very easy on the body, but do whatever you want, as long as you enjoy it.
Sounds like you have lots of projects with a good income potential. Perhaps too many? Pick and choose.
Or, maybe a partner. Could the hubby help with any of those?
I just joined another group here on SG, it's about jobs. You may find some help there for yourself and/or
the hubby.
Nice that you're back!

Wow! Okie, dokie. So I've been gone for awhile - I guess I closed my SG tab and forgot about it! Whoops!

So, anyways, I've been staying pretty busy with the psychic work online. Trying to do the Tarot Reading full time to make full time money now, since the household is completely cash-strapped. Everyone's been laid off so no one is employed (except me...

So...how would you describe your current religious path?

Right now I'm trying to meld my deep and passionate love of witchcraft......with a very progressive, liberal version of Christianity.

Personally, for me, I'm still in flux somewhat.

Peace, kiss

FINALLY!

I have an idea for a new set! I'm so excited! I think it'll be a fun one and I'm looking forward to it. AND the stationary camera view that I've been having issues with (since I self shoot) should actually ADD to the flavor of the set! So exciting! Now all I have to do is get all my roommates to leave the...

Okay, so, busy busy! I've been working hard at the tarot online site that I work at over here. The other gals who work there are SO refreshing to talk to! Real, honest, genuine folks that have been greatly inspiring! So, because I've been so inspired lately, I decided to start a new blog over at Wordpress just for my own spiritual development and...

Yes I love it!
I mean she really did turn out beautiful. When me and another hairdresser saw her we just gasped.
Our esthetician is magic, I swear. The girl was pretty anyway, but she just really brought that girl out!
