That's kinda what happened with Hyperburn up there. But then, as it turned out, he just plain rules, so maybe I would have found that dude on my own anyway.
But oh wait: making friends on line doesn't really count.
And actually, after I wrote that, and reread it, and laughed my balls off, I realized that I didn't have to really go through any of that shit when I met Itzamna. The bad behavior during those first encounters was perpetrated by people who turned out to be cool. So who knows? Maybe things will get easier in that area now that I've left Long Island.
And please, don't go screaming "YEAH RIGHT!" at the screen. I'm trying to be positive over here.
