Well I'm finlly out of my shitty little hometown and back in London, in a swanky new student dig toobiggrin The last 2 months have been such utter hell that every little thing is making me feel very good now, which is no bad thing. The room that I'm paying over the top for is actually about as flash as you'd expect for 95 a...

Well it has been a while... First off I only got a 2:2 for my degree, this shames and upsets me but truth be told doesn't surprise me at all. I got a stable job at an office, working 9-5 5 days a week for te rest of the summer, its horrific, I know why guys in suits are the most likely to off themselves...

Definitely. Chatting about metal and other stuff was very cool, my friend. I'll still be on AIM and the like.
annalee:
I can still talk to you on aim though but that sucks if you leave you're one of my favourite members! You should really wait for me and Grannys next sets to go up though! biggrin

EDIT: Fuck it, I'm sick of my own whining.

Aw dude frown Is stuff going ok?
nc_guy:
What's going on? You alright, dude?

That's pretty clever putting your favorite bands in the Into section.

It's been a while hasn't it... well uni is over, I moved out on sunday but managed to avoid crying, largely because my housemates all pointed out that we're inevitably going to see each other beyond graduation (I still miss them loads tho'). We had our last ever party on Friday, it was hawaiian themed so there was lots of grass skirts, although Mats friend...

"The Flesh Trombone"...hahaha...that's a good one I haven't heard before.

As for Negura Bunget, I currently own "Malastru Sfetnic," "Sala Molksa" and "Zirndidu-Sa." I'd like to buy a copy of their '95 demo "From Translyvanian Forest."

Good listening choice, by the way. I especially like that Naglfar album.

Awww frown Well I didn't think I'd be able to go, and as it is my overdraft is looking decidedly unhealthy and I may just have sacrificed the Opeth gig I wanted to go to, as well as Anathema and Dragonforce, but never mind-I'll just have to make sure it's worth it smile

Ah well, thats it for this years coursework, I handed in my Thesis on monday and am currently taking some time off before I start paniking about reviosn for my 3 exams (annoyingly they're all in the same 2 days... and I have my viva the day after them too).

May go and see Primordial later this month given that I'm letting myself spend money...

The new Vinterriket cd (Lichtschleier) is amazing! Check it out.

I've got you beat, lol. You're a lucky man. Such a lucky man wink

I'm... dealing with life. That's really the only way I can put it.

How are you, beautiful haired man!?

Yeah man, it can be very hard to find the right people to get with for a project.

I'm surprised I haven't sent you any of the stuff I've been involved with before.

You look way different in that profile pic than in the last!
annalee:
I want to see them, they sound so cute. Baby button quails are kind of the same, the have their eyes open and are all feathered when they hatch from their eggs! Where are you seeing Primordial? They're friends of my friends in Glasgow but I know they couldnt fit in a Scottish date with the days venues could be hired or something like that. hope you're doing well too x

Well its 3am.

I haven't been here for a while, so much work, my essay on animal cognition is very very hard and upsetting, it makes me hate psychologists that bit more.

I've been filled with nothing but despair and bitterness (bar some mild euphoric moments) for about a month now, going home I realise that I really did only go to uni to escape...

Oh, and you just got Illusions's Play? Prepare. I'm listening to it right now. I think I've been listening to it for months now.

Yeah, actually had just ordered a Vinterriket CD from Flood the Earth a couple of months ago.

Tomorrow I make my pilgrimage to Oslo to pay reverence to the one true Emperor and their acolytes. The weather is set to be 4 degrees... and blizzards, truely apt for the return of they who were once as the gods and shall be again.

Borknagar, Usurper, Carpathian Forest, Keep of Kalessin, Dismember, Funeral, The Legion, Cathedral and others will be there too... unfortunately Yattering...

So how was Emperor?

Edit: I ordered a Vinterriket cd last night. AnnaLee recommended that group (person) to me.

I had hoped to have some good stuff to talk about, and probably will tomorrow when I'm more awake but as for now I only have some of the worst news for a Metalhead like myself: one of my favorite bands has called it quits, the almighty Centinex, after 16 years and 8 albums are no more. They will be sorely missed frown

Anyway slightly...

Holy crap! How the hell did Centinex totally fly under my radar? I guess I'm just on the wrong side of the pond.... Oh well, many thanks for the intro, albeit the day after they throw in the towel. Sorry, I know it can be a real bummer.
octoberseven:
Honestly I've never heard them, but perhaps it's better that they call it quits. Like when Emperor split up. They were my favorite band at the time, but honestly I was glad they did it. They wouldn't tarnish their legacy then.

*Of course I know they're back together now, and I'm a little mixed about that.
