I remember Death Cab from my Anaheim days. This girl Zemeer used to listen to them non-stop. It effected me so much, I bought a pair of Converse.

It's not always how many people who are at a venue that decides how good a band is. When the Sex Pistols played in Manchester in '76 there were about 30 people there. All of whom went on to form bands such as Joy Division, The Fall, and Tony Wilson, who went on to found Factory records. You can rent '24 Hour Party People' for that full story. It's amazing. Even the Stone Roses started off 1989 playing to 12 people in Cardiff, Wales. They ended that same year playing to 30,000 people on Spike Island.

There does not need to be a conflict between two friends who have casual sex with each other when they don't have a current partner. This is perfectly possible to do without either person being a slut.
And further more, a girl who has never even had sex can be a huge slut. Case in point:
Early dates, "things going great she loves hangingout wants to keep hanging out her friends all like me we should hang out more"
Last date,
We were at the bar with some of her friends. She ignored me all night. This was lame so I asked what was up. She said that she is really into her independent life right now and we should just be friends because her and her friends like hanging out with me. I was like what the hell, be friends, you could have told me that before I invested all this time.
So about 30 minutes after that I see her just all over flirty with some random douchbag at the bar.
Now she...the girl that seriously hurt my feelings...that it a slut.
The two friends having casual sex because they're alone and need to feel someone...because they didn't hurt themselves or others in their actions...they are not sluts.

music is far from the worst thing to have going on in your life. i've been more into movies lately, but i just got a new stack of drool-worthy CDs.

man, that shirt was the pimpest.
my reasoning was as follows, and was correct. everyone was going to show up wearing black head to toe. i could join the crowd or wear a slick shiny golden curtain shirt.

i got over dressing goth when i stopped being a gothdustrial dj back in 97. i did recently pick up a new slew of CDs, though. the music itself never gets old.

Actually when I interviewed it was during the 'Nowhere' tour and they were still so young and sweet back then that all they did was correct me gently. "Oh, but we're not from Manchester, we're from Oxford." That type of thing. It was still embaressing none the less.

... well, he actually doesn't dress in drag, he says gay men have that covered, but he is still a transvestite. you should have seen the two outfits he was wearing last night, it was great, and he wears them with fake breasts now as well, unlike on dress to kill or circle. he did a bit about this time one of his fake bra stuffing boobs exploded on an airplane once he went above 30,000 feet and he was covered in that goopy stuff they put inside of them, probably not very funny unless you were there, but it was nonetheless great...

While Ride's Nowhere is an aboslutely brilliant lp and they were from the same era as most of the great Manchester bands, they were actually from just south of London in Oxford. *wink* Don't worry though, I made the same mistake way back then, only the more embaressing part of it was that I was interviewing them when I made the mistake.

My visit to the doctor was pretty positive and although there's no clear cut reason for what happened to me, my blood tests were fine. I'm somewhat relieved.

I try not to download albums, but it's hard when you're short on cash and need new tunes!
