My time in Eureka is drawing to an end. I must say that it's been one of my more unproductive journeys to the homeland, as I failed to contact anyone unrelated to me. Ah well, hanging with high school friends I hardly know anymore is overrated anyway.

Well, here I am in Eureka. So far, it's been uneventful. EnergyChannel officially rocks the house. His Christmas present to me was a 60 gig hard drive for my laptop.

This excites me to no end.


I have to get up in 7 hours to pick up gifts at a mall in a suburb. This does not excite me at all.

It is the weekend, and I have nothing of value to contribute other than w00t!

I suppose it's incredibly silly to wash your car in the middle of a rainy week, isn't it?

But the dead leaves and their muddy imprints were driving me bonkers, so I drove through a carwash anyway.

Sure, I felt silly, but my stark white car bears no remnant of leaf corpse now.
