Wow, this is a nasty flu bug. Here I am, on day 5, and I had to call in sick again. That's three and a half sick days, plus the weekend in between, of me sitting on the couch and feeling miserable. It's always different symptoms of miserable, and nothing to warrant a doctor, but yuck.

Ugh, now I'm sick too. You know that part of the sickness where it feels like you've swallowed a burning hot lump of coal? I'm at that part.

EnergyChannel is sick. Please send him love, healthy vibes, and any other hippie crap you can think of, because I hate seeing him this way, and I haven't mastered the art of making it all better yet.

Dangerous credit card purchase #2 arrived today. I am now the proud owner of a tidy little box of Buffy goodness. Marathon, here I come.

EnergyChannel made lasagna tonight. Soon, we get to devour half of it. The weekend is off to a wonderful start.

As I update my journal from our new laptop, while anticipating the arrival of my gigantic set of Buffy goodness later this week, I have one thought.

Monday: Called in sick. Still don't regret it.

Tuesday: Worked all day on a special project in the computer lab with a group of people. We were collectively referred to as a Medic Team, since the phrase Task Force is tired and played out.
