As of Thursday at midnight Washington state is shutting down all logging operations due to all the fires. This is as bad as I've ever seen it in 20+ years. I am trying to get on a fire falling trees.

Long week! For those of you that have never been around a logger it can be a very rewarding job but also very taxing. My skidder broke down today and I'll probably lose a day or two of work. That's logging. Have a damn fine weekend!
