After a very hard weekend with both races and a grueling leg conditioning session, I've decided to listen to my body and have a rest day. Slight worry about one stabilizer muscle in my left leg acted up during the last ascent on Sunday. That said it was a 500m drop over one km so pretty damned steep. I am making myself some lovely oats with some malt and cinnamon to start of the day. Body feels good after a active rest day yesterday (39km or 24miles bike ride) so probably going to attempt a slow run and then head down to the gym....

Had a great day, it mostly revolved around food. Had amazing bacon, egg, sauteed mushrooms and toast for breakfast. Had a beef stir fry with lots and lots of colour (i.e carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, chili, ginger) for lunch. Then an amazing chicken green curry, coconut rice and really nice roti bread with satay sauce as an apetizer. Now watching Wimbledon whilst having 2 slices...

Another day during my relaxing week, just because I can't run doesn't mean I can't go to the gym! Happy with 275lbs (125kg) deadlift and 165lbs (75kg) front squat .
