BEAN AND NOTHINGNESS

Hi, and welcome to Bean and Nothingness, New York's first truly holistic coffee bar. My name is Harmony and I'll be your beverage liaison this morning. Since this is your first time with us, why don't you sit in one of our Epiphany Chairs while I give you a quick orientation? Feel free to self-reflect, write poetry, or juggle if the mood...

ferretbite:
I thought it was pretty obvious it is... I mean it was to me ever since I first heard about it... It truly was a revelation and an eye opener.

Molly and the Gorn

We like "Star Trek". We don't go to conventions, dress up in costumes, or buy collectibles. We just enjoy watching all things "Star Trek" (except perhaps that "Voyager" crap).

But we do have a Gorn.

Mol occasionally amuses herself by talking like a Gorn, all hisss-y and crackly. So, many years ago, I bought her a Gorn action figure on eBay....

Avast! Don't forget tomorrow is Talk Like A Pirate Day, ye scurvy wenches!

THE OFFICE Quote of the day:

I mention our cats often on SG; now I have some pictures taken by Kimberly Saxelby of Upland, CA. Mol's employees gave her a gift certificate at Christmas for a photo shoot; we dicked around planning it, but we finally got it together last month.

OK, I finally updated my profile to reflect me, not Frank Zappa, who is still dead. That's me with Frank in the profile pic, circa 1978.

FYI, I was on SG from 2003-05 as "Ayurvedium".

The Office quote of the day:

Michael Scott: I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon, sue me. And since I don't have...
