Here is a blog created by the King's to see a little of their perspective. If you would like to check out the official fundraising website, it's got some extra info. Also, if you're in the Chicagoland area and would like something fun to do while supporting some amazing people for a great cause, you should visit the gallery hosting the official "Sparrow Project" event. It will be the evening of Friday, June 22nd. There is info on the site. It will be a fundraiser through raffle and silent auction. Many Chicago artists, and some from a bit further, are putting artwork into the auction. Perfect time to purchase some collectibles, find some entertainment, meet all the people worth meeting in Chicago, and support people who need a little extra kindness to work through this difficult task that has been thrown their way.

Caleb and Heather would appreciate anything you can contribute. Keep an eye out for the ability to enter a raffle if you can't get to the event. Otherwise there is a donate button on the blog.

Here's a little Wiki quote: "Conjoined twins (or the deprecated term "siamese") are monozygotic twins whose bodies are joined together during pregnancy. This occurs where the single zygote of MZ twins fails to separate completely, and the zygote starts to split after day 12 following fertilization. This condition occurs in about 1 in 50,000 human pregnancies. Most conjoined twins are now evaluated for surgery to attempt to separate them into separate functional bodies. The degree of difficulty rises if a vital organ or structure is shared between twins, such as the brain, heart or liver."

The King twins are sharing a spine... lets help their parents support them and get them the care they need to stand a fighting chance against the odds of survival!
