Fantastic Four had pretty good costumes and special effects, but the dialogue was stilted in some places, and cringe inducing at others. Overall, it was an okay movie, but I'm going to try my luck with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I've seen Batman Begins twice, and liked it more than FF.

Well it is possible. There are some jobs out there that you do not need french, they can be hard to find, and honestly if you don't know French it can be very tricky finding a job. I myself don't know french and I am having problems.

I posted on your Question for Canadian Students thread in the Students group. I'm quite surprised that it hasn't seen much activity. It is quite a good topic for discussion.

My driving instructor canceled, I've nearly overdrawn $100 from my bank account, and I still need to pay my application fees.

On the bright side, I'm halfway through "The Subtle Knife" by Phillip J. Pullman.

The Subtle Knife was my favorite of the His Dark Materials trilogy. And then I liked the whole thing even better when I found out that it was a huge allegory for Paradise Lost.

Indeed you should go to the beach; it is for happiness. I'm lucky enough to have been to a damned lot of beaches. The one I'm going to (come hell or high water) this weekend is in the NC Outer Banks. It's really pretty.

I haven't seen NIN live yet. But if their concerts are as good as their music, it should be an awesome show!

Are you still deciding on where to move? I saw your post on the boards. I really like LA, just so you know. I go to USC--it's a really great school, and I'm happy there. The people can be a little fake at times, but there's a good gay scene in West Hollywood, and there are plenty of genuine people so it's possible to ignore them. smile
UT is nice too--I almost went there. I got in and decided at the last minute to go to SC.

I realize with all my paranoia about not choosing the right school and not being able to find a job, I realize that I have only been seriously vomitty sick only once this summer, and only for a period of 24 hours.

I'm over stressing over my bloodwork results (b/c of Type One diabetes) as well-if there was something wrong...they'd tell me right? Any who...I...

you probably picked the right school. everything always works out in the long run, even if it's not what you had in mind but everything does pan out later. even a job, it'll come. good luck at the docs!

I'm thinking of applying to two more colleges. Right now I'm considering U of Wisconsin-Madison.

I feel better about not wasting my summer, even though I haven't been able to find a job, due to the fact that I have been writing more in the past couple of days.

UT and austin as a whole is very liberal.

I really liked Adaptation, though I know a lot of people didn't find it funny. I thought the industry stuff was hilarious!

Once I finished hyperventilating, I started on my application to Marlboro College. The reason I'm, nervous about leaving the Decatur/Atlanta area is that I would miss out on a lot of political lectures/meetings..ect. Plus they have the Carter Center and CNN. I love political science and have had great courses (text wise) there, and I though about transfering to Georgia State. I feel that it...

Well best of luck transferring out of the area. It sounds like it might be a really great opportunity!

Just finished reading The Troubles of Janice series by Eric von Gotha. It had some low points, and strangely enough (or not ) I was more concerned about Janice's escape from slavery than the hot sex (the orgies seemed a little repetitive in the last couple of books). The basic story line-Janice a 18th century English denizen is sentenced to life in prison, along with...

sadly, it's all kinds of shorts. even the "baggy" or "puffy" ones, as i like to refer to them as, still ride up. i saw over a dozen cases yesterday of puffy shorts riding up.

ladies have thighs, and thighs cause friction. shorts just should not be worn ladies.
