I had a stange dream yesterday. I dreamed that a former friend had been murdered. It seemed like a replay of an incident that really happened 10 years ago to a different friend. A guy I befriended by the name of Mike, who I first met at the Bong factory job I had back then. That's right, a Bong factory.
Wow, are you writing a book or what. This whole week I have been watching the CSI marathon so this story if freaking me out.
Plus I just went to a funeral two weeks ago for a co-worker that was murdered. Scarry scarry stuff.
Place the tip of your right index finger on the tip of your left thumb. Then, place the tip of your right pinky on the tip of your left index finger, and then place the tip of your right thumb on the tip of your left pinky.
Now, grasp the remaining fingers on both hands so they're curled together in the middle "g.i.... Read More
The first time I was in the hospital for cancer, the nursing staff hooked me to an elaborate IV pump. This thing made a steady mechanical sounding ryhthm 24 hrs. a day. Maybe it only sounded cool because I was administered frequent doses of narccotics. When I became conscious of this rhythm, I began to listen more closely and hear the tones of the soft... Read More
"You think about yourself too much and that gives you a strange fatigue that makes you shut off the world around you and cling to your arguments.
A light and amenable disposition is needed in order to withstand the impact and the strangeness of the knowledge I am teaching you. Feeling important makes one heavy, clumsy, and vain. To be a man of knowledge one... Read More
I would way rather live in Mormon town than Miami. I can't believe you didn't go out in Ft. Lauderdale. There are tons of tons of cool clubs there. They have like the most and biggest S&M/B&D scene there than anywhere else in FL. The clubs are kinda hard to find though. Hopefully if you get back down that way I can at least tell you where to find some cool spots to hang out!
Love the exert above. I'm going to check that out sometime soon. I love books.. I have more than the library! (Well maybe not, but I'm close!) It seems very in depth and vague at the same time. Reminds me of Sylvia Plath's Journals.
Allergies are messing with me today and my head hurts
I stayed up 'till 5 AM working on songs again
what I came up with is not very satisfactory. I got caught up in the knobtwiddling, there's my downfall.
I read somewhere that the areas of the brain that control creativity and technical problem solving are on opposite halves. The left and right sides of... Read More
I know exactly what you mean. I am forever writing music that I listen to later and go "what the hell was I thinking?" It drives me nuts. I guess I try to make it all too perfect though. I mean the rest of the band doesn't really hate it or anything like that. It's just me I guess. Who knows.
My favorite part is the show. I love to be on stage in front of lots of people giving it all I have. I love the feeling of everyone watching me but being unable to get close. It's complete control and power when I'm up there.
Here is a link to one of the bands that I'm in... SKC You can check it out if you want to.. I also play bass for Spider Vain which is a band of my own creation. I just do performance art stuff for SKC. I don't have a link for Spider Vain yet, as we haven't recorded anything yet, but we are hoping that next month is the lucky month!
I stayed up all night working on a couple of new songs...
I slept in 'till noonish, and I felt like a train wreck. I checked myself in the mirror, and looked like I just got home from a crack binge in the desert.
All afternoon I've avoided listening to the recordings I made.
Songwriting isn't that difficult, obsessing over perfection is the bitch.
yesterday afternoon I cleaned up the pile of junk on my desk and un-earthed my computer.
I've been veging out in front of the TV a lot. I should be doing my physical rehabilitation excercises 3 times a day, but the routine is boring as hell. It's too hot to go outside and do anything in the... Read More
I contracted West Nile Virus from a mosquito bite way back on June 6th. I was hospitalized for two weeks and after that I spent six days in a physical rehabilitation facility (which sucked, it was a waste of time and the food was awful).
West Nile Virus is no joke. It fucked me... Read More
