There are few things in life as ill advised as trying to be your own hero...
my advice: aim low.
The weeks I've spent avoiding this goddamn site have proven to be extrremely rewarding. Somehow, it's a pleasant surprise to find that in reality total strangers are not as horrible, rude and prickish as the dregs who bust my balls on a regular basis here...

I getting tired of your snide emails. You take everything way too personal, like. I'm done with you, boy.
Hey, I think you're getting upset over nothing.
I can take a joke, you're the one who can't take a fuckin' joke!

I don't think you even know what a joke is. I've always known you were unbearably arrogant. It was easy to see that you would rather act spooky than try to hold down an intelligent conversation. It's painfully obviouse that your ego cannot withstand even the most lighthearted of teasing. I used to think you were sort of fun. Now I'm starting to think you're just sort of an ass.
Sir, your brain is but skin deep.

I see you found your way to my little corner of SG again...
You're either bored or you have a fascination with turning rocks over to see what crawls out, either way I'm happy to be your host. It's one of the few things I actually still care about, being a good host.
Amusing you is difficult; and as the hour is regrettably getting later...

Mmmmmmm, lurking is even better than watermelon. I hear you on the reverse engineering of the mind, but I explicitly threw many pieces away and replaced them with new ones I made out of chewing gum, bits of aluminum cans, a rubber ducky, a half empty fifth of Jameson, some mixed nuts, and a fiew marbles. I'm sort of wierd now, as you've probably noticed. I guess I was sort of wierd before. I obviously haven't seen the void as closely as you have. I've stood at the edge and peered in, but I realized that I'm going swimming out there someday whether I like it or not. No need to hurry. May I ask you from whence the coma came?
P.s.
I do believe that sometimes animals chase their tales purely for fun.

I absolutely love underslept people. Thank you for your insomniac posting.

For reasons I will never understand, children and small animals like me.
This weekend I looked after my Nephew and Niece, they turned out to be a lot of fun. Most people, parents in particular, say that childless people like myself get along with children only because they're not ours. There's no bullshit commitment. There might be something to that, but I think I get...

That's interesting, because I have a similar situation. Kids love me even though I do my best to avoid them. Like your story, I don't talk down to them and I don't yell at them. My personal analysis of the situation is that there are less kids who suck than there are adults who suck. I have definitely met kids who suck, at all ages, but I find adults to be almost universally sickening. What weirds me out is that my misanthropy definitely extends to children, but it's like the don't even care and see right past it. They want to talk to me, they want me to help them put together puzzles. With a small amount of perseverence they always get me to go along with them and we usually have a good time. It's creepy.
I went jogging Thursday night.
I haven't even gone through the motions of running since regaining mobility after the paralysis I suffered from the encephalitis mess which came about as the result of West Nile Virus back in '04.
I did ok, jogged about a 3/4 of a mile and walked a mile and 1/2.

It's not every day that one becomes the leader of a Ninja Clan.
I am savoring this day to the fullest extent and it is sweet.
On a more personal note, my insomnia seems to have abated. I'm not staying up 3 days straight like I was previously. I'm actually getting 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep which does wonders for my outlook on life. For...

question though...being ninjas as we are, can any of us truly call one another friend?

Happy fuzzy bunnies.
Rainbows. Puppies. Unicorns with... frickin' lasers on their head.
OK, let me start over.

The smiles of newborns (that's good), butterflies, zebras, sabretooth tigers.
Midgets dressed as cowboys, um...
Skittles?

Well, I'd love to help, but I am no ninja. I am merely a simple pirate swabbie (wink wink).

I do indeed mean the Fix on adultswim.com. I never have trouble getting to to work except for on Friday nights when everyone else is watching the streams as well. You just have a fast connection.
I see my destiny here.
I see the error of my ways.
I see what I must become to fit in.
SG, you want to be entertained.
I will accomodate you.
I have nothing better to do than fuck shit up.

I think a little fucking shit up is exactly what this site needs. It's settled into a sort of dull complacency illustrated by it's narrow social norms. Just try to avoid the zot. The zot sucks. If you really intend on fucking shit up, I reccomend that you party down and have some laughs, but refamiliarize yourself with the faq first so as to avoid zotable offenses.

BatAttak,
I know you'll read this sooner or later.
I just don't understand your attitude, you're in the wrong here.
This anger you feel, it has nothing to do with me.
It won't help you get past the difficulties you're having in your life.
Let this anger go.

I've found some kindred spirits here since then, and I must say that SG does maintain a certain respectable level with their interviews and photo-sets. So when I select "I hate it," I don't necessarily mean the website conceptually.
As far as the accumulation of new friends: you may indeed have my number.
