Maybe you're hosting an alien parasite with plans for world domination and every time you fly it gives the mothership an ideal opportunity to beam a strong stream of messages and mission details to their agent inside you. Maybe it was sleeping too.

Flying back to Arizona tomorrow night.

There'll be stops in Houston and New Orleans which sucks because it adds at least two hours to the trip. I'm considering what my options might be to make the ordeal more tolerable. I've got a couple of klonopin, which is something I've never taken before, I guess it knocks your ass out. I can't get away with smoking...

It's true that higher quality booze is less likely to cause hangovers, because cheap booze has more impurities.

"An Alien Stole My Whisky Blues"

Dads' wife fixed me up with one of her friends last night. We went "out ".

She was quite easy on the eyes; lean, casually sensual, a firm handshake. She was a little bit quarrelsome and possessing of a take-charge attitude no doubt left over from her former career as a nurse in the Philippines.

That she wasn't into...

Though a bit creepy, sober and wholesome encounters such as this can provide a very temporary feeling of innocence. The evening almost sounds oddly pleasant, until you get to the Catholic mass part. I'm quite sure that's what did you in, regardless of the differences in your respective makeups.

I was thinking yesterday, why is it again that outsiders are not so welcome in Skull Valley?

I squandered an entire Monday doin' basically nothing.

Which is kind of too bad because, lookin' out the window, it looked like an interesting day outside. There was wind and huge clouds and rays of light beaming down randomly through wave after wave of shadows. I think it's neat when the daylight flickers like a candle. It was a good day to fly a kite....

Somehow, I was talked into looking after my recently introduced nephews (step-mom's grandkids).

Boisterous, but respectful, they didn't object to me drinking a few beers and nodding out in front of Japanese MTV (satellite television is a wonderous thing).

Later on, they fell for the ol' "smelly sneaker in a plastic bag smells just like watermelon" trick. One of 'em actually huffed it for over...

Having nothing better to do, I went down to the U of M campus and sat in on some classes, liberal arts stuff. I felt conspicuous because I seemed to be the only one not taking notes on a laptop. I hung around pretty much all afternoon and no one spoke to me, except a security guard.

Most of the women were so unbelievably attractive...

i know what you mean, Boulder is over run by hot girls. i've been lucky and missed all the shallow conversations, though.
scheisskopf:
Congratulations.

Now you should take a day to go down to the courthouse and sit in on some court appearances. Watch the guys in orange suits come out, eavesdrop a bit, and go eat lunch in the cafeteria.

oink EL SUICIDO LOCO oink

And yeah, there are some extremely shallow and stupid young people among us. amazing.

One would assume people are basically the same wherever you go, but the differences between white folk in south florida and arizona are myriad. I'm not exactly a student of human nature, but all the nuances are significant enough to register as culture shock with me.

One of the first things I noticed about south florida is the absence of innumerable SUVs with confederate flag...
