I hate the smell of cigarette smoke. I used to be a smoker, but quit. I'm not one of those people that is like everyone must quit, I just hate the smell. Especially when people do it outside my window so my entire house smells like it. Especially since the smell gives me migranes! mad

I've started the task of re-knitting the sweater I tore out....

Your friends are just with the wrong people is all. Nothing wrong with your situation.

As for those questions the Metroid bundle GameCube is platinum. You might be in a small group but not alone in those that have not seen Kill Bill.

Check out my new entry for today's items of purchase woowoo. I spend money like it went out of style years ago.

Note to self...when very very tired stay the HELL AWAY FROM YOUR KNITTING!!! In a sleep deprived manic state, I thought it was a good idea to rip out and re-ball the entire back of a sweater. I woke up thinking "that was really stupid". Yeah..sure, I get to fix a couple of mistakes, but that was 15 inches of work. No more cranky or...

Ah love. I understand about the crocheting while drunk thing. Eeeeek. smile I also grasp the concept of wanting to take a vacation from being me. I'm like that a ton. When I get bummed out, or just complacent, I would like a vacation from me. smile

What kind of new drug are they going to put you on? Be careful, I worry about you.

I've learned a similar lesson--stay the hell away from my record player if I've been smoking weed. So many albums scratched from being a stoned idiot....The other mistake is recording music AND mixing while under the influence. If you do one while high, always do the other sober...
Don't worry if you don't have the experience for the job. Just tell them that you're a fast learner. I'm sure you'd be able to pick up on it all, and it sounds like too great of an environment and opportunity to pass up..

Tonight was date night:
I saw Garden State.
I want the soundtrack very badly. The movie is sweet and very growing-up-Jersey. I knew many people like that in my formative years. And none of them seemed to have moved away either. I always feel very comforted when I see characters dressed as simplely as me. If I can wear jeans and sneakers everyday, why would...

Wearing jeans sucks especially if that is your given work outfit and you prefer dickies work pants. They look more mechanical worker-like I think. The whole jeans thing makes me feel like I am in highschool or working at a mom and pop company.

I need a date night it seems or just a date, either would work.

As for the movie I will just wait for it on tv. I still have yet to see some of the movies that are out that I want to.
monsterbaby:
Oh, I want to see that movie.
theaters out here are the suckiest of all.

I'm finding it very very hard to wake up in the morning. Its been so nice and cool, I just want to nap in my bed all morning long.
Especially on days like today when I wake up with one major headache.
I may be balsy with a high pain threshold, but when it comes to headaches and migranes I'm a total baby. I want...

I use to live less then a block from Eastern State..I never went because I don't know why...I never go to places that I am near to.
I use to want to buy Harvest Moon but my bf at the time told me it looked retarded so I didn't buy it. Since I am without cable I might have to buy it to waste some time. I love unwrapped I miss the food network and tlc. I only get like channel 10 so basically I think I would take anything cable at this point.
I love my new pigments. I bought blue brown(I need to get blueboy paint for this), golden olive (I wanted old gold but the girl messed up...but I still like it), Kitchmas (wearing this today. I had a sample so I knew I loved it already) naked (not eye safe I found out not sure what to do with this one)
I also have the nordstrom le one on order. I was going to get the long lasting lip colours but I wanted to spare eviltwin I need to go to NY soon to get the new Pro pigments or just order them from the 1800 # because I have heard they are wonderful.
I have never been to Six flags (something on my list of things to do before I turn 30) so yeah I just need to go to go...esp because I have never been on a roller coaster.

I wish I were there, hooky and a tour of another state would be grand!

I bought some raw wool on Ebay yesterday. Yep, definitely getting back into my fiber addiction. I suspect though I will produce some yarn, and just sell it, since I am allergic to the wool. I just want to spin it really. I was impressed though with what they had to offer. I guess I should see if I won any of the roving I bid on....

It's very creepy at work.
We're painfully understaffed which makes the office very quiet. I mean, its not as creepy when I used to come in at 8am and spend the whole morning by myself, but it still is missing its normal hussle and bussle.

I was watching Monster Games last night, and I came to a conclusion. I am not cut out for office...

haha i have one tropical in my freezer...I tend to try to go for the sugar free pops..but I always end up never eating them and going for the Edy's

Yes their packaging sucks...but yes they are mosturizing and just nice. I wish they tasted a little more (some do some don't) but they are really good balms and she usually gives you a free gift and the shipping is always really fast. I keep them in my desk...oh you can get special labels put on em I have never done that but eh you can. I feel the sticks (or if you prefer pots) are the way to go I have tried the tinted and everything I just like the balms. Basically they are cheap and you can always just try them if you don't like them you can always give them to a close friend or family member. My mom always gets my rejects.
kay:
Well we are always in need of people who can deal with working down here. If you get tired of life up North... wink

I would love to be good enough to teach people to spin. I saw spinning wheels on ebay yesterday. It was all I could do not to get hot and bothered. I am the same way about certain things if I see them somewhere, what is the pattern, I bet I can make that! Though being a vendor, the biggest offense to me while working was the fact people would indeed come in and say I can make that for you cheaper. Yes, you could make it for your friend cheaper, but please do not undermine the sweat shop I have to run and the over head! The nerve! I make sure I never say that ever when I'm some where there are hand crafted things. Oh sure, I can make it, but you already have. I should just buy it. wink

As to the tomboy....there is a balance, and it sounds like you have one. People get grumpy at those of us who are comfortable acting and wearing just what we want to. Where is my flame thrower!

Hi monkey man!

I'm so very tired, and its a hour past my bedtime.

Yeah..I'm lame, I go to bed at 11:30. I wake up at 7am a zombie if I don't.

Myself and the monkey-man doggie sat his parent's dog and cats....it was so sad. She followed us everywhere we went, even the scary basement she hates. And to see her looking out the window frowning when...

Thank goodness...the elevators are working! I was just not up to the walk today...I think I would have gone home if they were still out.
Of course I'm not holding my breath that the elevators will be working an hour from now. We have had so many problems with them, between them just not working at all, to dropping floors, its just a mystery no...

Mr. building, I know I am out of shape and i need to work out more, but do you really need to prove this point but making me walk up 14 flights of stairs!!

There was a pipe that burst on the 6th floor of my building, so all the elevators are water-logged. So, we get to haul ass up 14 flights of stairs (out...

I am making some progress on the hats. It is really funny now though, because the boy looks at the colours and what not, and now I think wants a ton of them. I definitely think I will take him yarn shopping. smile I did try to teach him how to crochet the other night. His hands though are so huge, it was definitely funny. He did catch on though, and I think I might try and get a larger needle and maybe get him started on things like rugs and what not.

I am going to go ahead and try to sell some of them off, and what I do not sell, I will send to the childrens hospital. I still have a ton of yarn that is better for children, and will still have almost 2 months to try and tear through that before leaving the Ice. Go me! And there is always next year. I also still have a ton of yarn to ship down for next year too. Oi!

thee machine gun elefant? Hrmmmm...thats most original. But alas, I have not heard of them before.

Black Celebration is a tough album emotinonally for me. Even with Martin Gore's less than manly lyrics/singing on half of the album. Very dark....even Stripped (though the written lyrics seem a tad bit half assed).

I told you that doom3 is working for me again? Still not that good, but better than before. I reloaded Direct-X 9.0b. I had it already, but reloading it helped. I still need to get a freaking new graphics card. Blah...

After seaming most of my sweater I realized I did it incorrectly and had to rip out hours of work. I nearly cried. I finally finished my ripping this morning. So tonight I will not be a dumbass and will hopefully do it correctly.

hey, don't think of it as being a bad week, think of it as getting all of the bad stuff out of the way in the beginning wink
I hate the heath care system, too...and the profiteering drug companies...I have to pay for everything out of pocket, and the price of insulin has more than doubled in the past 10 years...bastards!

Indeed love. It is usually the simplest things that hit us the hardest. I recall last year, I was here washing dishes in my room, and a song from childhood came flooding back. I sang it, then burst in to tears, as I realized the disease that is eating my mum's brain, will take that memory from her. I was a complete wreck. The small things that mean the most, indeed.

I do hope your day gets better, and it will. Everything is a uphill battle for survivors. I feel you completely on the insurance. Sheesh.

I just talked to my mom. no operation...YAY!!! And its not the gloomy diagnosis I thought it would be....they're putting her back on chemo for three months to see what happens. So all of this happens again in three months.

I'm happy, especially when she told me what could have happened if they had operated at this point in time. Her intestinal wall could have...

There is NO fucking reason to play FPS titles on crappy consoles. Horrible gameplay mechanics. Controls suck ASS. Always play shooters on the PC if you get the chance. Currently, Im re-addicting myself to Call of Duty. Brilliant game. Also, Im playing Silent Hill 2. I've had it for so long, I figured it was time to play.

As for review copies, I write reviews for games on a couple of different websites. Check some of them out at The Laser.
