I should be knitting right now. I usually avoid the computer on the weekends since I stare at it all week long.
But oh my god does my hand hurt. Way back in my clarinet days I got tendinitis in my left thumb. I had to wear a little splint and everything. Anyway...many moons later, it causes me great deals of pain when I either...

Ok..i normally don't post quite this much but man...my last two posts were blue.
So..here's something lighthearted and stupid.

Ahh...it's something you're in to. Nothing wrong with that. I tend to copy edit everything I read. Kind of the same thing if you think about it!
I haven't found any magazines that have inspired me lately. Philadelphia Magazine isn't too bad. A former SGer is doing and internship with them now. Never had a chance to meet her though.

Heh...you know, I'm a HUGE Trek fan. Shatner AND Nimoy are coming to Cherry Hill in october. Guess who's gonna be there? ME....and I met Nimoy about 8 years ago. Kewl guy.
I dated a ballerina....she was the love of my life. Coolest girl i've hooked up with, hands down. So, the theres a sweetspot for the dancers in my heart.
And...I play cello. Or, I used to. My mother as well (thats how I started). Im actually thinking of playing again. Go figure.

Thank you for all the nice thoughts. The last post was more depressing then I thought when I was writing it. My man was even trying to find out what was wrong with me after reading it. I didn't feel like verbally saying all of it, to anybody. My mom, my man, my friends, no one. I wanted to keep it strictly in written form....

I've never been to any, but I would like to go sometime. I just recently picked up knitting, so I'm not very good yet. I have an 11 month old son, so it can be hard to get out to do stuff like that, you know.
My head still hurts and my nose is stuffy. My happy little manic moment is slipping into a nice cool low period. I almost miss it when its gone.
I'm a little off today. My brain is very very overloaded and all my thoughts are in very short phrases.
So, in lieu of this...some Innocence Mission Lyrics:

Maybe still the aftereffects of Weds? I hope you're feeling better today.

I'm not a doctor but I play one on the internet.
(and since I'm on the fucking internet all the time I guess I AM a doctor)
Weds was so much fun but I also got like 3-4 hours sleep and I'm still paying for it. When I'm physically drained it definately sets off a chain reaction that affects everything else as well including my mood.
As far as the other stuff, you need to turn it around. Being around creative types inspires me and I wish I could do it more. I sometimes get complacent when I'm in my own little world. Knitting is a creative outlet too don't forget. I know it's not what you were referring to but it's creative. When I'm not taking photos I like cooking as a creative outlet. Don't you hate not sleeping. I have trouble falling asleep all of the time.
Do you guys get something like the penny saver? It's an ad that get delivered to your house or they have them at liquor stores for free. Or check out Pennysaverusa.com to see if they list Estate Sales in your area. If they do...click on the Garage Sales tab and then on your area (your county or major city) and they will give you lists of each one. I usually go on and get the ones I like and then go to yahoo to get a map to each one.
Nicer area= better stuff! It's not always true but avoid areas that you wouldn't set foot in, etc.
I hope that they have some in your area...that way we can dish the Estate Sale gossip, i.e. pushy old ladies, etc.!

You and your tales about stinking all nice!
I want to try so many scents but my bank account won't let me.
This place here has been an obsession with me for a while now. Have you tried? I wonder if it worth it? sure having a custome scent would be super cool and all. One day, I just have to give in.
-I am growing my hair out too, I can totally relate.
The whole work situation sounds like it blows, it seems to be a trend at many places. I know I had a hard time being happy in place were I wasn't appricated and others would get away with so much crap and got paid more. gggrrr, just thinking about makes me angry.
Sorry, I don't mean to jump around to different subjects but I love girl shoes....from afar. I only got one nice pair and their are pretty old. I live in my chucks.
I am in love with the shoes here.
Yesterday's entry was pretty gloomy but I can understand your fustration. I don't think any insurances are fair or make any sense. Growing up, I went through so many anti-depressants and then I had migrains too. So my meds were all wacky the migrains meds had caffine but my anti's knocked me out an then my doc puts me on some other junk just to sleep. If the would just stop and look at the charts and use common sense and find the meds that are under insurances....I mean there are generic forms for almost everything. Makes you just want to pack up your shit and move to Canada.
Well woman, I hope things get better....I am going through a trying not to get depressed stage in my life right now. I think you are super fortunate that you and your boy are close and you are not alone.
Okay enough outta me, I think I have a point some where in my comment.
**Apologies for spelling and all that junk, I am just not in the mood.
take care

See you at MoI!
I thought I would do a little experiment. I spent my evening forcing myself to watch "League of Extrodinary Gentleman" to see just how bad it was.
My experiment was a success...it is absolutely insanely horrible! I watched the whole thing and still have no idea what was going on. It was TERRIBLE! I can't even think of a word bad enough to describe it....

What kind of people show up, and why are there so many? Are they new people to replace old people leaving?
!!! Indeed, they are replacements, and beakers (science folks). We will get about 300 plus and only send out about 70 of our winter crew out. Just getting ready for the summer time. Oh joy.
You live in a very cold and desolate place, but damn girl, you have the most exciting entries!
!!! Life is what you make it, no matter where on earth you are.
Health care is one of the most fucked systems in the country, and personally being a victim of it repeatedly, I hate it. It is frustrating and with no sight in end of it. I'm holding that soap box for you girl.

I decided I'm going to try and use the word "cooch" more. Because, is there anything better then to talk about the female anatomy?
My two favorite things as of right now: Cosi Iced Tea no lemon with a shot of vanilla (my favorite beverage actually) and Health Valley Cafe Creations in Cinnamon Danish. It tastes exactly like a Danish but not half as sticky....

I am a big fan of cooch (coochie) I am not a big fan of other words that mean cooch..some of em are fowl.
I like demeter...but some of em go funky. I like laundrymat. When I worked at trixie I use to order them and loved just picking them out. The store in NY is amazing. You can sometimes sell the rare/popular ones on ebay for some cash.
I so wanted to go to FIT just for the fashion program. I am not really go with the whole school thing tried college a few times but always dropped out. It would be nice to have that to fall back on though instead of all the loans I have to pay off without anything to show for it.

Every hobby of that sort has some crap material to it, mine is various types of paints, glues, green stuff and so on for miniatures. Thing is knitting uses very few items overall.
If you ask me the only thing worth watching on the Olympics is:
This is the type of gal I would want to come home to and find cleaning it.
With ones like this that nakedness bit would work great.
Now in specific breakdowns of if it would work or not:
Torch Relay : great or scary depending on who is at the helm.
- Archery - BOING!!!
- Athletics : any running or throwing event works unless someone falls ; anything jumping would have to involve some soft landing material
- Badminton : this was the lazy gym game and those lazy people that played were more prone to willingly get naked for no reason anyway
- Baseball : make sure not to dive for the ball or slide
- Basketball : talk about not defending the play
- Beach Volleyball : diving might be a sore point
- Boxing : below the belt might have to be raised a bit depending on the competitor
- Canoe/Kayak : it is a tiny boat to hide what most people do not want to see anyway, so it works
- Cycling Mountain/Road/Track : road rash is bad enough with clothing on
- Diving : isn't all swimming supposed to be naked anyway?
- Equestrian : naked people on horses, they make websites for that
- Fencing : people poking each other with their swords ouch
- Football : this is a trainwreck waiting to happen
- Gymnastics Artistic : This deserves it's own section.
Guys
Floor Exercises : works
Horizontal Bar : no
Parallel Bars : no no
Pommel Horse : no no no
Rings : works
Vault : sure as long as they stick the landing
Gals
Balance Beam : painful to say the least
Floor Exercises : this is what it is all about
Uneven Bars : ouch
Vault : see also Guys, Vault
- Gymnastics Rhythmic (gals only sport) : ALL THE WAY
- Gymnastics Trampoline : see also don't fall on your ass
- Handball : since you can't really touch the other team it could work I suppose
- Hockey : BRRRRRR!
- Judo/Taekwondo : wrestling naked worked so why not these also
- Modern Pentathlon : a bunch of naked friendly sports in one
- Rowing - the safest naked olympic sport...ever
- Sailing : also another safe naked sport
- Shooting : what could go wrong here besides a shell going the wrong way?
- Softball: see also Baseball
- Synchronised Swimming (gals only sport) : yet another perfect sport
- Swimming : extra drag sure but those underwater shots would be priceless
- Table Tennis : fun filled back and forth action and not just the game itself
- Tennis : lunging for the ball could prove fatal
- Triathlon : a sport that could make or break most naked participants
- Volleyball : see also Beach Vollyball
- Water Polo : another naked friendly water sport
- Weightlifting : sure thing here not that I would watch it
- Wrestling : a time honored naked sport and you know with all that testosterone they want to do it naked anyway
There are a bunch of other Olympic recognized sports (surfing, bowling, chess?) but I will leave those out of here since they are not done for metals/
That is my sport by sport Olypmic nakedness report. I hope it was worth the read and if not I never said you had to read it now did I? haha

I keep getting frustrated and taking the whole thing apart and starting over again. I'm hoping to finish one by Christmas so I can give it to my bf.
I'm going to Portland the first week of fall for a super secret wedding. We'll get there, drive down to Reno, and no I am not the one getting hitched, although that would be really cool if I was.

I see they have a remixed version of both Nintendo Harvest Moon titles coming out sometime this year...with a female main character though. Pretty much the same game except male love interests instead.
McGreevy is gay....what????
New Jersey...I move away from you for a few short years and all hell breaks loose. First you change your DMV to some other weird name, you open it on Saturdays, which I thought was a sin against god or something, The state license gets all freaky and futuristic. and now our governor is gay?

McGreevy coming out is gangsta on so many levels -- that is seriously great (not to mention that he's still going to be in office until 11/15).
True Life is one of the few shows on MTV that I really like. ]The Lizardman is getting an episode in the coming season -- or getting a part in an episode. I'm secretly looking forward to it.
I must say that I'm in agreement that NJ needs its old DMV back. Sure it was awful, but it gave the state a lot of the character that it has.

I think McGreevy is a Canadian in disguise! We have plenty of gay politicians here. Why did he resign?? It's not because he's gay is it?? That would be a shame.
I have to wear dorky looking gloves as well, so I feel you. Since I have gone back to crocheting as much as I have, I have to keep popping my wrists. Icky wet sound. Eww.
Have a great weekend love.
