Hey no problem you are awsome!

Awww, kitties with allergies....i think i am going to cry now. frown

If you get a chance go to the Pied Cow, it is like a Coffeehouse that serves awesome deserts, coffee drinks, beer, and appetizers......it rocks!!! It is on SE Belmont and 32nd St., kitty corner to Zupan's market. They are my favorite place to have dedert, EVER. They have so many things....bernadette's brownie boat (brownies under icecream, raspberry preserve and whip cream), S&M cake (dark chocolate cake w/ a shot of espresso poured over it) and peanut butter truffle in a tea cup (basically yeah a giant truffle in a cup) which is SO dangerous because even though it is tiny its like too much for two people. This place is awesome. It has the weirdest ecclectic collection of bad art, a stairway turned shrine, a kitty who roccasionally roams through the restraunt named "Fancy", a room that looks like you are inside a genie's bottle, and if you eat outside you can rent a Hookah with various flavor choices of tobbacco.....i don't smoke but they smell really nice. I would highly recommend it. They are open until 1:00am which is nice too.

'til later, take care'o'theeself! kiss

Ok...so if you see a rash on me, please tell me, because it could kill me.
How fucking creepy is that?? If my new drug gives me a rash I could end up meeting my maker....very fucking creepy indeed! And this is supposed to be curbing my anxiety...HA!

Besides impending doom...all is quiet on my homestead. Spoke to my mom, she's still in the hospital...

Oooh! Fable looks really good! I watched people playing it at the Penny Arcade Expo but i am somewhat bad at video games, so i didn't want to play it myself in front of so many guys (there was like a 10:1 ratio of guys:girls).

Yay! I am glad thins are ok with your mom right now! Less worry=happy tum tums.

I love jager. Liquid alchoholic cookie....drools.......actually i really like Oatmeal cookies too.....basically anything that tastes remotely like cookie. Damn you cookies, get behind me satan! I wonder if the oreos were why i feel so horrid today.

I have never seen monster house....but the concept i have ehard of, and it sounds cool. I want a house.

Okay, slie is tired and wants of sleeping. Take care you! Have fun traveling and enjoy Portland for me, i love it too!

I am feeling so much better today....no sicky sicky....ach, does that mean i actually have to go to work?

San Diego Comic Con was amazing awesome. I like comics, though i just "got into them" about three years ago, unlike so many people that have been aware of them since childhood. I never really liked any of the superhero ones. What were/are your favorite comics? I know, it is such an expensive habit to get into, that probably it is also a good idea to get out of it eventually. But i am hooked and now i want to go to the con every year. There was an amazing diversity of events going on not to mention the diversity of geeks there as well.

Oh no....video games are dangerous for getting things done! I like the stupidest games sometimes. I am excited for the new Sims to come out......yeah, that is kinda silly but it will be the death of my social life for a little while, irregardless of how stupid it is....

Mmmmm.....whole paycheck foods...........i miss it. There is one in portland right near powells, so i guess i am glad i am not in portland all that much at the moment because damn, between those places i would bring no money back home with me.

take care lady!

Ok...so today instead of being all AHHH I'm just lowercase ahhh. My mom was supposed to be at the doctor's right now, but she changed it to this afternoon because god forbid my dad miss his appointment. I would have gone home and driven her myself but she talked me out of it.

I hope everything goes well for your mom, and you. Really hard stuff....

I don't know about the men thing. I am incredibly in love right now with an awesome guy which totally skews my viewpoint. I do think however that girls and guys functioin very differently, both through societal upbringing and genetics. All of my male friends are awesome, and i trust them just as much as my female friends, its just that for the most part i can see differences. I basically just try as much as possible to filter all the other people out, or try to understand them for what they are. I find women can be equally screwed up in different ways. Like a few women i have met who talk to you like they care, and then either string you along while cultivating gossip about you and talking behind your back, or they just drop you and then say "oh we should get together, definately" but then obviously mkae no efoort--in fact if you make efforts to see them they always have stupid reasons why they can't hang out but don't have enough guts to just tell you off. I hate that......but i know a lot of women who are awesome too. There are a lot of those negative type of women i just described, but i try to filter them out just like the bad men.

why was it painful to be in portland? Past stuff?

Thats cool about your sweater. I need to practice more knitting. Ihave just made swatches and like three scarves so far. Scarves are getting intensely boring, so maybe i should see if the local Bookstore can order it for me. I also want to do sweaters so bad! But i am not ready, nor do i have the money. In the mean time i think i will work on Christmas presents. I am going to knit bath washcloths out of cotton/hemp blend yarn in a basketweave stitch in people's favorite colors. Oooh, how domestic of me!!!

Oooohhh, i havew always wanted to see someone make pumpkin and coffee scented perfumes....maybe even toghether! Pumpkin-coffee perfume would make me cream myself!!!!! Ahhh!

Okay, gotta go....take care!

Hmmm, I've been away from your journal for a few...picked a bad day to come back! wink

Much of my family lives in italy. We were conditioned at a young age; when the phone rings in the middle of the night it means someone died. Not a good childhood memory.

I hope things get better for your mom.

My wife is a fag hag (I guess I am too). There were times when our home resembled The Birdcage.

I like Grover's picks today!
You're the coolness biggrin
akathisia:
Ahhrg that SUCKS!!! I hate it when people do that with work, like "oh wait you mean you wanted to go on vacation on not work on stuff the whole trip, what?" Grrr give us a break! Damn the Man, damn him!

That sucks about your mom! How old is your sister now? My mom had breast cancer and chemo a few years ago. She felt horrible. And for the most part she still had to cook (even though she was too nauseous to eat what she cooked a lot of the time) because my father, and certainly my brother, are both too stupid to cook for themselves. Also the doctors told her not to eat any red meat that wasn't organic and nitrate free (or is it nitrate? whichever one is the obviously more frequent occurance in store-bought meat), but my dad would still com home from Costco with huge steaks and pot roast that was definately not OK for her to eat, and still want her to cook it. I think she got pretty tired of that.

Do you have pics of your sweater-in-progress up yet? I want to see! I should put up some pics of stuff i have made! I am just lazy.

Also, i love Hope Blister! I love them, i found out about them by chance because i bought the Smile's OK album several years ago just because i liked the cover art. It is so good! I have not heard the Gus Gus original though. Wish i had more money for CDs!

Something that won't make you want to punch puppy dogs....um, uh....oh wait thats not what you meant. biggrin Here is something massively cute in my opinion. But then again, i laugh at weird things. Well, i guess i will jsut take waht i can get when it comes to getting happy!

Take care!

Man.. I hope insomina isn't one of the side effects I get. If it is... i'm in DEEP SHIT. I took prozac (back in the day when it was all the rage.. circa 1990 I think) and I didn't really experience any side effects.I take that back.. except it made Mr. Wiggly go limp from time to time.. needless to say I wasn't to happy about that. About four years ago I tried Wellbutrin and I hated it. Gave me heart palpataions and I didn't sleep to well either come to think of it. So that's when i decided to swear off drugs altogether. Now, i'm reconsidering. I guess I'll have to see what happens but you have been very helpfull and I appreciate it. Anyway...

Martha is a freak and I think i saw that Halloween episode where she looked like Siouxie Sioux. Would've been funny to see her break out in to her own rendition of "Halloween" or "Arabian Knights" and then maybe follow with an encore of "Hong Kong Garden".
I tried to add you to my meager friends list lol (It just dawned on me that I should start talking to more people on here and makes some friends) mine is pathetic. It wouldn't work though (probably my fault) i still don't know how to get rid of that guy's picture. I'll have to figure it out later. I have to get up early, busy day going to San Francisco to have some much needed fun on the town with a couple friends.
Take Care,
Michael
akathisia:
Arrr, actually it is barely starting to get cold here in Oregon, and it was actually making me super HAPPY, i don't know why, but i think the colder and greyer it is out, the happier i am, to a certain level (like not below 30 degrees, although then if it is snows it is again happiness but only for the first one or two days). I just found out gr3g is getting laid off though in like three weeks.....he will get unemployment and stuff, but my mood is just totally shit right now, plus i am menstrual and feel like hell being up this early.......otherwise i am sure i would be decadently happy. Oh well. Why so many *bitchass* things gotta be gettin' in my happiness way? tongue

Ahhh, oh well. Mmmmm, pie. I could eat like a whole pumpkin pie RIGHT NOW. Or perhaps just a slice of banana creme or key lime, but just a piece because those two are disgusting in excess. Actaully, i want cookies. NOW.

As for tattoos, i have so many i want that in my head i am a regular ink pad while my skin in reality remains white and naked. I already probably have several thousand in ink planned up, but that is unrealistic on my budget. Do you think it is wrong to apply for a credit card and use it for the tattoo? Actually i would probably take so long paying it that the interest would stack up and i'd be paying for it as long as i had the tattoos--the rest of my life. I want several things, three of which especially, and i don't know which one to get first. The one I want the most would be on my left shoulder, a giant old rusty skeleton key (just like one my parents actually had up on their wall) lying on top of ivy (or other comparable botanical background). It would be pretty detailed however not "realistic" entirely.

Well i need to go. Work at Seven. Blargh.

Ew...I'm totally soaked and freezing. Oh, how I love walking to work in the rain. If they paid me more then nothing I could take a cab...like the rest of those fuckers! But yay for everyone being pissed off too!...

Well... thank you so much for answering my question, and "wordy" is good! You were very informative and helped me more than you might think. The insomnia part has got me a little freaked however 2 hours at 15 minute intervals? That would be a total nightmare for me (i'm sorry you had to go through that) Sleep is very important. If I don't get enough I'm in an absolute wretched mood. Doesn't it suck being in the 1 percentile when it comes to side effects? Damn luck.

To answer your question about Martha Stewart.. umm... well yes and no. How's that for an indecisive answer? I don't see her and I having a picnic in the country drinking wine and eating cheese. But, I will say this... the lady is pretty creative and has some damn good ideas even though she is a viper. Funny you and others on here have mentioned Martha and Halloween. I watched one of her Halloween specials a few years ago. She used those cheap "human" face masks that most Halloween stores carry every year and taped up the eyes and mouths, filled them with water and froze them to make giant spooky ice cubes that would look back at you bobbing around in the punch bowl. Fucking genius. Like gr3g said, it totally appealed to my goth side. That's when I became a fan smile

Everything seems to be crawling under my skin today. I have put myself in such a horrible mood, and the city and people around me are not helping it any.

Hope i'm not intruding. I saw your post on Thora's page. I'm about to become heavily medicated for depression soon myself. I swore off anti-depressants for the last 5 or 6 years, but recently things have gotten so bad that I have to do something. My doctor thinks Effexor would be the best option for me. Did you have many side effects with it?
To answer your question what pisses me off? Ha! EVERYTHING.

1. The fact that SG hasn't posted an interview of mine that i did two months ago.
2. Hot weather.
3. My self-involved ex-girlfriend.. who likes to call me and pretend she geniunely wants to know how I'm doing, but then she just talks about herself, even though she doesn't really have anything to particulary interesting going on.
4. My aching back.
5. Accidentally peeing on my leg.
6. lonliness.
7. 14 year old girls in bikin's hitting on me (yes it does actually bother me) where were you when I was 15?
8. Car salesman
9. Rednecks
10. Republicans

Well that Planned Parenthood is the surgical one. Plus I mean they don't really like birth control and all that if they are all christion right? I dunno they should just stay the fuck home its hard enough to go and get your ya-ya checked out you shouldn't have to be told that you are going to hell.

Ahhh with my storage pod came my Lush products. I took a bath last nite with the rose fizzie (I can never remember names) and a bubble tub thingie. I like to combine like scents of the fizzies and the bubbles. I like bubbles but somethings the fizzies have more scent. My one soap (not the buffy) melted darn it I am sure its still good.
Oh yeah I stare down cars when I cross the street too (I don't if I am walking my dog unless I am carring her) But when I drive I am so mean to people its like I always have the right away...

Well remind me when the next full moon hits. I want a special scent toooooooooo.
I am doing so much laundry its sick. The storage unit smelled of something and now everything even though it was in plastic bins smells like this something. Sooo I am forced to wash like everything. And I think I am ready to admit I am girl the owns to many shoes and clothes and maybe to much make up but I have a place to keep that..oh and hair products why do I need so many??? Still nice to have my stuff.
Ugh someone rang my doorbell at 6:00 am couldn't really go back to sleep....but now I have to get ready to go to work and I feel like I could sleep 4 more hours at least. I hope the person that rang my bell catches like a cold or something...End of ranting on your journal. biggrin
