Yeah, Jr was having mood swings today. I'm working under an F-350 Super Duty and I hear something hit a tool box. I slide out and look and he's throwing wrenches. I looked at him and said "Enough". He stopped. Later he threw a broom across the shop and almost hit a car. I said "Pick it up, put it back". He looked at me funny and did it. Around 5 he threw an oil filter across the shop and was yelling that the service manager is a mother fucker. I said "I agree. Pick up the filter, throw it away, clock out and go home." He picked it up, threw it away, and stopped and said "Do I really have to go home?" I nodded and he said "Why don't you yell or anything" I just shrugged and walked away. He followed me and asked if he could stay and I said "Can you quit throwing tantrums and act your age?" He chilled out. They are starting to listen to me. They like the way I keep the customers out of the bays. And the fact that I don't yell. Also if a customer is a dick, I have a standing policy of parking their car at the far end of the lot so they get to take the "Walk of Shame". I'm teaching them quiet rebellion.

Hi Cutie, Thanks for the note. I can't get the AIM thing to work for me. I tried a long time ago and it gave me a message that I didn't have access or something. I think it is because I have ichat already through mac. I didn't know as much about computers back then so I'll have to try it again. I have IM through yahoo though, my name there is Velaura101.

Actually, with this company we don't do teams. (I have worked at a team shop though... It sucked because everyone was lazy). At this company Lead Tech is like the shop den mother. More or less the Service Managers right hand guy. I'll be training up the rookies, making sure the daily tire truck is recieved. (This chain does an average of 40 tires per store per day, plus a bunch of service). Tires put in the warehouse to where we can find the damned things. I think I'm pretty much "Mom". I can't hire, fire, or send home, but I do get input on such things. How much I don't know, but the best part is. If I way we need certain supplies, we get those supplies! No more being out of stuff! (I hate that almost as much as customers being in my bay).

Damn, the Lightning are kicking the Penguins's ASS both in scoring and every time the penguins pick a fight. Pavel Kubina just layed Malone out in 1 punch! It's 9-0 Tampa. I'm listening to the streaming audio of the game. Wish I could see it on TV or something...

I used to have a Yamaha FZ. The little 550. Good enough to get me around town looking good. Sort trips on the Interstate were no prob either. Wasn't a drag bike by any means, well at least not against other bikes. (Unless it was some Harley or something - why do those guys think their cruisers are great handling, ass hauling bikes?). I sold it before I wrecked it. But sooner or later I would have laid it down had I kept it. I think I may finally have a line on a plate for the Falcon. But I'm going to have to drive about 2 hours to get to it. That's tomorrows project.

The piss tests are never a problem for me, untill the day they start piss testing for bourbon.

I dunno, I gotta do the french toast with the extra side of bacon and the big ass swimming pool sized cup of cafe con leche'. If I do McDonalds I generally get a plain biscuit and a cup of coffee, maybe a hash brown. Some times a sausage biscuit... McDonalds food makes me sleep though.
