Personally i think punk is a term that is being thrown around without true definition lately. as it was in the early eighties when it was at a peak of popularity. its popular right now and anything that is different is "punk".
i beleive i'm punk because i was brought up that way from my friends. i was never at home and was always with my friends listening to music playing in a band and causing a fuckin rukus. i dressed in black, skateboarded and got into a lot of fights. hell yeah i'm punk and thats what punk means to me. its what you beleive.i'm a fuckin punk. i dont agree with the definition above...its to blunt.

I got to hang out with Eponine last night, go to Colorado Springs, get donuts, and go see Taxi Driver at midnight. What a great movie.

At 2:05 I'm going to see Lost in Translation for free. And right now I'm going to eat some Dunkin' Donuts and troll the TV searching for the Patriots game. I don't think it's on out here though. Grr....

Still thinking about Once Upon a Time in Mexico and how it kicked ass. However, I have movie plans tonight and tomorrow, too...

Tonight, Taxi Driver is the midnight movie at the Mayan. Oh yes, after years of dreaming, I finally get to see it on the big screen. Does life get any better?

Well, then on Sunday, I have a free pass plus one...

Once Upon a Time in Mexico: a review. as per orders from punt.

I didn't think Johnny Depp could do better than Pirates of the Caribbean. But who else could make fannypacks sexy? And when he started talking about skull-fucking...

Yeah. I'm a sick bitch. Anyway, I loved this movie. Just what I needed tonight--a good dose of guns, mayhem, blood, hot babes, hot...

Heh , your rating system is FAR better than that "Thumbs Up/Down" bullshit . I won't even say "I told you so" , even though I kinda' just did confused . That scene of Johnny in the black suit and sunglasses at the end of the movie was straight outta' one of Sergio Leone's spaghetti western's shocked . If you wish to read my personal review and compare , check a few journal entries back . Mine was basically the same as your though . biggrin

Glad that you had a good time . Get some sleep , and stop being neurotic ( You know you're the baddest of the bad . You could possibly even be badder than Shaft , but only if you grow an afro wink ) .
bettietwoguns:
1. he's 16.

2. once upon a time in mexico was awesome.

It's way too early in the morning for me to be awake. But the evil cat woke me up by taking a flying leap from his window seat onto my bed, and now I can't go back to sleep. So I'm sitting here with a cup of green tea, trying to make myself function.

Things I did yesterday:

1. Watched G.I. Jane.
2. Went to...

I would just like to say that thepromdate is the coolest chick on the block. So to speak. She could be the queen of my neighborhood anytime (and maybe will be....every day you people tempt me further...)

Strip City is the best book I've read in a long time. Of course, it's also tempting me to drop everything and drive around the country. Not that...

WARNING: Very LONG journal entry ahead.

Back in Denver! I survived a trip all over the East Coast with my mother and sister.

High Points:
1. Philly is lovely. I could definitely live there. I spent lots of time wandering South Street by myself, and bought a kick-ass shirt with Marlon Brando on it. mm. Brando.
2. Cabaret on Broadway. With Tom Bosley (otherwise known...

Drove around in my dad's pickup last night listening to Johnny Cash. It was as fitting as any way to say goodbye to the Man in Black.

I'm at a crossroads in my life again. My doctor wants to give me antidepressants. What I really need is something that makes me happy besides watching sports on TV. I need a few friends around. Most of...

yeah.. I mean, he should have waited until you had more money before he died! Or maybe he should have just not died at all! I heard that His daughter (i think) was making a lot of music and trying to get him to be a part of it with her because she was really worried about his health and she wanted to have something to share with him and remember him by... I read something about that a few months ago.. and when his newest cd came out.. he sounded so frail and old.. I guess we all kinda knew something was gonna happen frown Did you know john ritter died?

ok, since McQueen insists:

1. in south carolina.
2. pissed off about something I don't feel like talking about.
3. Roger Miret is fucking great. go buy Roger & the Disasters' CD. Now.

I'm at my parents' house, so I will not be on this much (parents would not approve!), until I get back to Denver next week. so as before, if you miss me,...

Oh, I vote for really REALLY twisted Nick Cave any day! Yay! Nothing is guaranteed to make me smile more than lines like "It's like my eyes ain't green and my hair ain't yeller, it's more like the other way around!" Actually every line in that song is genius. And I always giggle when I hear "I'd crawl over 50 good pussies just to get to one fat boy's ass hole ... said Stagger Lee" *giggle* See?

Have a wonderful time away from home, sweets! kiss

Hello from Philly!! I'm reasonably sure none of my sister's Christian roommates are about, so I am sneaking on here to give you all an update:

Monday: plane all day. Landed. Ate Thai food. Watched Chicago. Realized that one of my sister's friends looks exactly like Gael Garcia Bernal. Yum.

Tuesday: dunkin' donuts. Wandered around South Street by myself. Bought an issue of Rex Mundi...

Dropkick Murphys shows are officially better than 90% of the sex I've had in my life. God, Al Barr...yeah. They've also got a new girl singer who is utterly adorable...blonde with a big forearm tattoo and a cute voice.

Anyway, I love 'show friends.' You know, the people that you dance next to, grab when they get shoved away from you, sing along with, and...
