I have been domesticated, haven't I? I usually don't have the time to do this kind of stuff, so it's sort of an indulgence. I didn't leave the house all weekend, it was like I was on an agoraphobic vacation.

I'm glad you aren't letting the kid issue scare you away. He sounds like a real winner (the dad, I mean).

and yeah, he changed her tattoo. it's one of those jesus-fish thingers...(she's really religious). it was supposed to have a black outline and be purple on the inside, but instead he just filled the whole thing in black and put a purple highlight on the inside. i wanted to punch the guy, but she seemed pleased with it... i reeeeally hated the guy. i even disliked him before he pulled that. eugh.

I love cosmetics that smell like food. I have some lotion from the Body Shop that smells like mandarin oranges.

in all honesty, the only way i can go to bed without being completely fucking exhausted is to go to sleep next to my girlfriend. it's the only time my brain slows down and i can just focus on sensual experience and fall asleep naturally. it also doesn't work with just any girl, i have to be really comfortable with them and they have to have a way about them that calms me down. with palo it's her voice, smell and the shape of her body... so anyway, if you help him to fall asleep, i would definitely take that as a complement.

Oh god, I've always wanted to see the south, especially Tennessee. Damn my poverty.

I would love to find a note like that. I was just recently going through a bunch of boxes of old stuff and found my stash of old notes, letters and other stuff from old girlfriends, including a note I got from the office from my high school (!) saying that this particular girlfriend had called and that I was supposed to go straight to her house after school. I always thought that it was pretty cool that she thought to do that and also that they actually took the message and gave it to me.

Just tuning in. That was a nice gesture with the card. I know I've always enjoyed written communications from women, particularly the one I'm with (when I am with one). I especially enjoy it when there's a dialog happening only on paper that we don't speak about directly. It's nice.

I hear ya about the friends. I have purged quite a few IRL friends over the past 2 years, and I haven't felt this great in years.

nah, i didn't see iris...i've been going to this rad girl at the place across the street. her father-in-law was one of the detectives who caught john wayne gacey. she's really cool.

eh, i stopped in to say that i may need to call you tomorrow, i think i have a situation on my hands that you have experience and wisdom with...

i'll write you a really long email once i'm all packed and crap. i'm moving in one week and i've spent like...3 days at the damn hospital not accomplishing anything.
so yeah, expect a novel in the next week sometime.
