I'm listening to Louis XIV's album. It's pretty good, but just about as derivative as you can get before being sued. I've also just reviewed Bon Jovi's latest single and the Kaiser Chiefs's latest single.

I want to dress up as a zombie for Halloween.

Let her go, let her go, god bless her.

I really like apple & passionfruit juice.

Take apart your bones and put 'em back together.

I just called Schweta - one of the girls I met in India earlier this year - to tell her that I'll be there in a month. Trying to get her on the phone was great.

'Hello, it's Anton. Is Schweta there?'
'(Indian I don't understand)'
'I'm from Australia. I met your sister earlier this year.'
'...(Indian)'
'Schweta?'
'(Indian) Schweta?'

I watched a fucking great Neil Diamond film from 1977 tonight. Brilliant. Vaseline on the camera, roses, seagulls flying over beaches, and Neil singing his mawkish little heart out. Absolutely beautiful.

Also watched Slap Shot, a pretty good Paul Newman flick from the 70s. Ice hockey, a total lack of political correctness, and one of the coolest fucking guys in the history of cinema....

I'm back with FasterLouder. Which is good, I think. First up is a review of the Wolf Parade EP, and later a fine review of Neil Diamond's 1972 classic Moods. Oh yes.

Interview with Hell City Glamours today. Interview with Butterfingers on Friday. Both for The Brag.

Got drunk and watched 80s movies yesterday with Julia. Pretty In Pink isn't as good...

Yeah, Pretty in Pink didn't do much for me either...The Breakfast Club is so much better.

Now, I haven't seen Say Anything, but I love Singles and Almost Famous. Hated Jerry Maguire though...

And thank yee, glad it's Anton approved, couldn't have it any other way!!
