Yesterday after work I met with the two directors of the model agency I was telling you guys about; the ones who are relocating their Africa head office from Cape Town to Jo'burg. (They also have an office in Switzerland, & another in New Jersey). We basically needed to meet one another face-to-face, to discuss the rationale behind their proposed joint venture & exactly what...

Because of the sensitive nature of some aspects of the story, & out of respect for the "characters" who are still alive, I have decided to put it together along the classic lines of "Little Women", by Louisa May Alcott. But instead of being sisters, the main characters will be friends....

Oh, & while you're there, go on & give her some good luck wishes! She probably needs all the support she can get at this stage of the game!! The thought of giving birth terrifies the living daylights outa me...

Our house smells like HONEY!!
Perhaps if my name was Pooh I might feel a little differently, but it's not a particularly pleasant smell in large doses, trust me
It seems a family of bees has made a hive beneath our 1st storey bathroom, & the 'aroma' is seeping up through the bath, shower & basin plugs & wafting right through our downstairs bedroom &...

Had another great weekend...
Hired DVDs on Friday night: 'V for Vendetta' (with a lovely shaven-headed Natalie Portman) & 'Find Me Guilty' (with a full-head-of-hair Vin Diesel!) Both movies were really good; I can highly recommend them.
On Saturday night we met up with Richard, his brother, Marc, & Angie's baby sis, Caitlin (who was out in SA on holiday), at Red Room, where we...

LOL... people either hate or love the V for Vendetta movie... no middle ground there.
MMH... much to be said for Sunday late morning nookie...
... even better when partner then rustles up some breakfast in bed too...
Last Friday got introduced to a vile drink called a Jagerbomber (a shot glass of Jaegermeister in a whisky tumbler of Red Bull) -- seeing that I hate both ingredients, that didn't go down well... and a good mate had a few of them and felt soooooooooooo sick the next day... did I mention I HATE Jaegermeister?...LOL

I assure you the music at the Cellardoor will not be stale. I left the red Room because it became crap. My last night there I sat on th couch and said "I've had enough" and that was it.
Had a fabulous time down in Durbs this weekend past! Our mates, Sarah-Jane (Serrurier) & Derrick (Williams), tied the knot in a lovely low-key garden ceremony, with a very festive reception indoors afterwards. The weather was perfect, the venue amazing (Makaranga Garden Lodge, Kloof), & the company great. The bride & groom's first song was Lovesong, by The Cure (one of the most spine-tingling love...

Thanks for that beautiful comment, went to see that therapist and she suggested hypnotherapy as opposed to meds. If that doesn't work then I will try meds as my last resort because it is very expensive. A psychological evaluation by a psychaitrist is about R1000 which I just don't have. You are right they are both beautiful disasters and as crazy as I am I am not a disaster and I can do better.
Yo, peeps, I'm back!! Just couldn't stay away from you lot! Seriously, though, when I opened my Inbox this morning I found a lovely unexpected invite from Missy which, well, let's just say - it was an offer I simply couldn't refuse! So here I am, back in the land of pink after my mini-sabbatical, feeling rather bright-eyed & bushy-tailed & ready for round #2...
