hey. sorry i am a little late and lame at getting back right now 'cause i am feeling sick, well, i am. stupid shit. i hate getting a cold, or whatever this is, something like it. sore throat. uuh. okay, i'll stop complain about it in your journal now.

hope you're having a good day. i've been out for 4 hours, cold but sunny.

i have like 1picture of me drinking..and it was me just chillin at christmas time. nothing exciting at all.

i have tons of my stupid face in front of the camera though..haha

LOL. Thanks for your comment(s). I actually find SG to be a pretty good group to talk to about stuff like this- they do have the ability to be pretty nont biased. Of course, I expected more people would say yes than no, but I wanted more than their "vote" to see their reasons behind it.

Oh my... I just read your last entry. My gut reaction: run. I was in a similar situation: married for 14 years, together for 19. You asked about my stuff... yes, I'm getting rid of 20 years of collecting madness on the eve of a divorce - come June, I'll be separated for 2 years. If your level of distrust is that high with him, I think (in my limited knowledge of your actual situation) you need to trust yourself and your instincts. I'm just sayin'... My situation, however complicated, did not involve children. Kids complicate everything.

wow, i relate to almost everything you wrote (i've been with "mine" for 12 years, 'cept for an official 2 year respite and a few other sketchier, skeevier unofficial respites). we've both been deceptive outside of the relationship, looking for the quick fix.

we're about to move in together. nothing's really changed. we're still who we are. monogamy's tough, and if i wasn't physically disabled, i'd likely be single.

i wish i had some advice for you but all i have is empathy for that constant _on edge_ jealous feeling - when you find something you were looking for, some proof of flirting or whatever, there's such a sick rush in it, of satisfaction, of disgust? do you know what i'm talking about?

actually, i do have advice. if that's a feeling you're having on a regular basis, please be careful. it gets into your cell tissue - these thoughts are not just in our minds and seperate from our bodies. i was really fucking messed-up jealous the year before chronic illness struck. i'm convinced that they're entwined. i'm not trying to scare you. i just think that this is messy emotional territory and has to be dealt with.

I think we overuse the word "hot". I definitely overuse it...so and so is hot, and so is this or that. But I don't know if sex with someone unfamiliar is hotter than being with someone you have been with for years. It think it might be more exciting only because our bodies are flooded with those hormones that come with doing anything that is out of the ordinary, new or forbidden.

I certainly hope that it is the beginning of the end for capital punishment. Isn't the oath physicians take the antithesis of capital punishment?

thanks for your comment. i am back home after this insanely active day and feeling quite good. i found the story of your transition into nursing quite fascinating. i work in the film industry, and while i do love it, i wonder how long i can sustain.

This flu is unbearable but I was at least capable of enering the working realm again - yee ha. I would imagine nursing is an incredibly draining yet rewarding experience.

Anaxarete also bears an unfortunate resemblance (in spelling, not pronunciation) to anorexia, which I hope is only coincidental...

Aw, I hope you don't play that horrible game anymore. I /hate/ it when a girl goes that route to get out of...well, anything. It's so frustrating because it just aggressively avoids any relevency, nobody can actually win, and it's wired to just blow up into a fight anyway.

Yeah we were tempted to elope...and I'm still going through the thought process of: "Maybe it will be for the better if we just do that..."

But we put the deposit down on a small chapel, and a deposit down on invites....It's insane.
