It is Hella expensive to Hire a moving company... what I have done with moving out of state in the past though is.... Rent a one way truck....... Hire movers to come load it on one end..... Drive it to where we are going ourselves.... Then hire movers to unload it on the other end.
You are still paying movers to load and unload.... but you save sooooooo much money by not having them drive the damn truck. You are just getting their hourly back breaking fee's which is usually about $100 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. (which you would have on each end) Yes I told you.... I have done this WAY too many times!!!!!
