Shit! Who do I have to sleep with to get some members in the new Alias group?!?! Join it! Join it!

I'm a Garner fan (kinda-sorta; I mean, I think she's hot, and she's invaded more than a few fantasies of mine without me really wanting her to even though the results were fairly pleasant), but I just don't dig the show. To be honest, I didn't really give it the chance it deserved when it started, and now it feels as though the mythos have progressed so far that there's no point in watched in now.

Perhaps this is a better way of thinking about my apathy regarding the upcoming election: the electoral college votes in my state are always won by the Democratic party. The popular vote is never even close. Kerry will win my state with or without my support. This is a good thing in that it means Bush will not win my state. It is a bad thing insofar as it means my vote doesn't count.

Hmm. I recall an associate of mine had a hip problem that stemmed from disk problems. He was able to avoid surgery with an alternative treatment that, in his words, resembled being stretched on the torture rack. Apparently it stretched the spine out (we're talking millimeters here) so that the disks could return to their natural positions. He said it was painful but better than surgery. Hope you can avoid going under the knife.

Oh, no doubt, these early games count in the statistical sense, but rarely do teams play like these games mean anything. Consider the recent end of the NBA season. An even shorter season, but the first half hardly counts as long as a team finished strong. Likewise, late in the season the Yanks and others will make their runs to win the division. How a team starts really has nothing to do with how they finish.

As said, invidiuals have no sway over politics. If groups get together, they can effect the political process. I belong to no groups that have political power, so I feel no urgency or responsibility about the current political situation. I vote my conscience and always lose.

ha ha. i don't spank boys silly. well ok....i do...but only when i'm a bit tipsy at events. teehee. definently not in any relationships. and besides that one is over and its all about the spring flingssssssssssss.

Yeah, I occaisionally get hooked on shows that make little sense...Didn't get sucked into American Idol but damn if Big Brother get me. Bad enough to tape episodes that I'd miss from work, etc. and consider signing onto their streaming video feed. Thanks for the poem comment! Wednesdays are "Journal Poetry Day". Some people join in by posting original stuff, some post some work by favorite authors, some cheer by the sidelines...
