I was in CT for the course of moving 2 dressers, replacing 7 doorhandles/locks, removal of 2 fallen trees, cleaning off & re-hanging 14 screen windows, and 1 30 minute lunch with my sisters inlaws.
Oh, and dont try guilt-trip maneuvers with a jewish person - not only will it not work, but it has potential to turn into retaliation! You think you can guilt me? pu-leeze!!!

WELL I woke up at 5:45 this morning with the strangest dream about Trent Reznor.... very very strange..... I think this might be becasue I am TRYING to get into the NIN sold out show here and avoid paying $$$$ money for tickets, my friend toured with them for 6 months and did their hair and make up, HOWEVER she was in contact with the manager for years and now he is canned. Toni Morrison is a great author. I wouldn't really read one of her books on my own though, this was an assignment for class. I read fluff, and this book was really disturbing and upsetting. It's about these little black girls in the 1940's in Ohio, and one of them gets raped by her dad, and the characters all hate themselves and each other and their blackness, and it's terribly sad to read. Very well written though.
I know that good literature should make you feel something, but isn't life bad enough? I like to read stuff that's just mindless drivel. Something to entertain me, you know?

I have another story to add to why you shouldn't let other people drive your car. My brother and I used to work with this kid, who wanted to borrow my brother's car to move some stuff. So my brother says, "Okay, fine," and hands over the keys.
The kid then backs the car into a tree. Before he was even out of the driveway! He did $500 worth of damage to the car, promptly became a heroin junkie, and has still not given my bro any money.
