I just got word that my Mom only had a double bypass and that she is recovering in the ICU! I am so relieved that I can't even express it. Thanks for all the well wishes.

So I had my long ass meeting today during which I learned that my Mom was going to be admitted to the hospital today and will be having a triple bypass. Thankfully I have been able to talk with the lovely MsJune about the surgery and she has helped calm me alot.

So I have to up at the butt ass crack of dawn (4am- is the damn sun even near being up yet?) and I am not the least bit tired.

Why do I have to get up so frickin early?? I have a goddamn 11 and a half hour meeting. Shoot me now!!!!!

So- I went out with this guy for the third time. And I have had enough. Having a conversation with him is like pulling teeth. I mean it is excruiating. And the sad thing is he is a really nice guy. I just don't have the patience to wait 5 minutes (literally) for him to form a complete thought when speaking to me.

Things are going the usual ways. Just trying to get by on minimal pay and lack of sleep.
All in all, things could be worse. So I won't complain.
