oh, and it wasn't someone i'm romantically involved with who said that to me. a friend. yup. most of my friends are men. go figure. i'd make him dinner were he not about 1,500 miles away. it was just so weird not to be the insanity. refreshing. and i realized i had let other people's idea that i am crazy become part of my identity. (hence the questioning of what i've done to myself.) only i can make myself and only i can destroy myself. i'm not going to be angry with myself for what i had to do to survive socially as a kid.... but i'm well beyond high school. i don't have to be "crazy" anymore. or i can be crazy AND attractive AND smart AND creative! not just the first two. tee hee! now i get to be full-on eccentric!!! ;o)
