Damn...I was doing exactly the same thing, minus the hole punches. Just sticking paper in sleeves and binders 8 hours a day for a week. Good times. I have 2 major paper cuts and every one of my cuticles is destroyed.

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I've been running around like an idiot.

I'm the EIC of The Temple News at Temple University in Philadelphia. This is my first semester as EIC, however I was Managing Editor, Copy Chief and a Copy Editor before that.

It's been really fun getting things together. Planning and directing a newsroom is loads of fun.

Yeah it's nice, but it also sometimes makes me feel bad, when we hear a song of theirs on a commercial or something. But then we don't feel bad a second later, when we think about what a crappy song it actually is. It's nice to feel like he picked me though. And his band is really taking off and eventually they will achieve that indie-non-success that every kid in black frame glasses dreams about.

If you find a talented artist they should be able to do something close to that painting, but it will probably be very exspensive.

It'll be really hard to reproduce that painting as a tattoo. Still a good enough tattoo artist should be able to make a reasonable go of it.

I can relate to your situation at least in a few ways. I also was a person who always pushed others away from me; at the time I thought it was because I felt uncomfortable in groups and with friends and just prefered to be on my own. I somehow convinced myself that I was an introverted and quiet person(which should shock anyone who knows me). The truth was that I was just largely uncomfortable with myself, was terrified that if I got close to people they would reject me, and thought that perhaps I wasn't really deserving of friends/lovers/what ever anyway.
It took me a long time to get out of that frame of mind, if I ever completely will. I can remember back as recently as a year and a half-ago having a great group of friends and yet, when we first started hanging out together, being terrified that they somehow did not like me after all. Sometimes the old habts die hard; very, very hard.
I read your entire post; I wish I had some way to comfort you more, but I've never been very good at that sort of thing. All I can stay is stick in there; your a good person and I enjoyed spending time with you this summer. Take care of yourself!

I dunno...I think relationships (the friendship kind) would be a very good thing right now for you, but I get the impression you're focusing more on the naked-type of relatioship.

...and no long-distance relationships for me, but I don't really practice the "find someone in the neighborhood to get close to" idea...which is what I was talking about.
