This was a lot of fun. @ilanna has such fantastic posture, and @talena so skillfully captures the lighting stippling across her figure that the most satisfying drawings were the digital tonal sketches on the right. Top set, great job to all involved :D
No colour this week, because I decided that I would much rather spend more time studying some of the incredible poses that @liu was presenting this week. She is a very elegant lady, and her poses are imaginative and dramatic. Some great photography from @frani too resulting in some grat foreshortened poses and fun tricks of perspective. Lots of fun, thanks both :D
Wow. This is the sort of set I looooooooove. @ripley is a fantastic model and @cdo has photographed her beautifully. Great tonal range, was perfect for a couple of digital studies. I wish I had more time for this today, but I have evening plans so this exercise has been cut tragically short :/
Lovely set from @venture today, great for quick gesture drawings and some tonal studies. Some of the painted ones came out a little heavy handed today, but still some nice touches that I'm pleased with.
Today was a fun set with @coralia I was focusing on gesture drawing so none of the pencil drawings took longer than 2 minutes to sketch. Some great poses today to do this, it was very educational :) I particularly liked one of the poses, so once I scanned in my pencils I did some painting on top of one of the gesture drawings.... underneath

Today was my first day back at my day job after having to take nearly 5 months off due to medical reasons, so I am tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired tonight! :D I couldn't resist having a sketch of @emmameow but I don't think I did her much justice :/
A terrific set from @damagore and @talena today, strong depth of tones and vivid colours inspired me to do today's Sketch of the Set of the Day completely on my tablet for a change. I can always rely on sets from @mendacia to be chock full of imaginative and interesting poses. The photography by @gossip is of an extremely high standard too; a terrific range of angles, distances, great tonal range, and interesting focus that results in fun combination of crisp and lost edges. Great fun for drawing from, thanks to both :D
@brunabruce has a really cool look, and some terrific poses today. I particularly enjoyed the foreshortened poses when the photo was taken from a low angle... terrific!
Some classic pin-up poses from @saboteur today, this is a great set. The green painting on the right was done on my tablet, whilst the blue/pink painting on the left was done over my pencils when I scanned the page into photoshop.
I am very impressed with today's photoset, I think that @flowerbomb and @jaruby have done an excellent job together. From the colours to the tonal range to the poses and the location are all lush. As well as pencil sketches I also broke out the graphics tablet for a couple of quick sketches, focussing on tones and then colours. Lovely stuff, I had fun today
