Not entirely original and not the first blog to feature a similar list. But whatever.

Here's my top 10 list of songs about robots (in no particular order):

Radiohead - Paranoid Android: Of course.

Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots: Again, an obvious choice.

Tokyo Police Club - Citizens of Tomorrow: Great song about the coming robot uprising (apparently in...

I went to New York Comic-Con this past weekend. My first convention ever. I had a blast, and we took a bunch of pictures (my friend and I), but they're all on my friend's camera. And I'm sure I won't remember to post them once I finally remember to ask him for them. So, no luck seeing anybody dressed up as your favorite anime character...

Okay so... on the road, in a hotel room in Newport News, VA.

I don't do this blog thing often. But I'm a little drunk now and I'm feeling like it might be a good idea. Pff.

Earlier today I stopped at one of those bottle shops that does those specialized six-pack things? You know the kind where you can pick whatever individual bottles you...

Had a Halloween party to go to tonight. Backed out of it at the last minute 'cause I just wasn't feeling it. It IS November after all. Who holds a Halloween costume party in November? There's just something fundamentally wrong with that, I think. That and I had one last night. Just costumed-out, I guess.

Decided to stay in for the night, partly because I'm...

On his twitter, Matt Fraction said this new TV On The Radio album took an entire week to grow on him. But holy shit, this thing is fuckin' good.

I have nothing else to say.

Devour it.

Devour it with your ears.

Ooh, that is kind of exciting :-) I think it's interesting that a single company makes all the filler stuff for libraries instead of having to buy the furniture piecemeal one by one. It's nice to make things, I like working with my hands. While I was in nursing school I worked at an oil change place.

Well, Cool Hand Luke is almost my fave Paul Newman movie (just watched it last night), it's actually a tie :-D The Long Hot Summer is my other fave, it's one of my girly pleasures, enjoying the chemistry between him and Joanne Woodward. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is not nearly as much fun, I am not an Elizabeth Taylor fan.

Sometimes I feel like life is just one disappointment after another...

Nah, that's a joke. wink I enjoy my life very much and have the best friends and family a guy could ask for. I could work harder on the lady-friend front, but you know how it is.

I just wanted to see what it felt like to be one of those guys that only blogs...

biggrin I'm glad you are happy with your life and don't feel like blogging depressing shit. I do it anyway sometimes because it's nice to have something to laugh at later on. I like your other blog too - I need a good source of music recommendations. The only radio I listen to now is XM so I don't have to deal with commercials, and at that it's usually the comedy station.

Oh an that asshole bartender who turned off the jukebox... in Wayne, PA my favorite bar was a place called Teresa's that had no tv's and was smoke free (even though it's outside the city). So not the place to go to watch a game, but great for hanging out, drinking, and talking. And the music was usually one of the bartender's iPods, so the music was always random and fun.

I haven't watched SNL in years either; I don't know who's in the cast unless someone mentions them as an "SNL alumnae" when they make a movie or TV show. The last big network thing I watched was the Olympics because I am a geek and like to get caught up in big things smile

The character in my profile picture is Lain from the anime "Serial Experiments:Lain;" the artist who designed her is Yoshitoshi ABe but I don't remember if this pic was from his artbook or someone else's fan art.

I'm 26 years old and I'm just now beginning to realize that life is just a collection of experiences. And I'm just trying to grasp hold of these moments and cherish them.

My regular blog is available at Bethlehem Slouch.

In there I basically just discuss my ideas about whatever I'm currently reading, movies I've just seen, or new music I'm into. Boring, I know.
