I'm teaching in Boston, it's only a month but worth it I guess. I just got done painting studios all day and I'm exhausted!

Yeah, i can't wait for another month when I'm back on top of it and have supplies although now I'm just dreaming up paintings, which is a nice change from stressing and obsessing on how I am going to move on to the next painting.

The men's spring tshirt line is done. I'm a creature of too many possibilities, so narrowing the color combos down to a managable size was a daunting task. But, I did it and some stores are starting to make some late season orders.

I have some people helping me with the women's combinations. The images will be the same, just some slightly different colors....

I would love to swap prints. I'll take a look and then we'll seal the deal.

Hmm Marie Roberts....did you tell me about her before bc I know I've seen her work. Did she teach at AU?

I'm really psyched about the silkscreening. Right now I'm doing more little wood cuts (bc I have tons of ink and wood and no paint and canvas). There was something else I wanted to tell you.......shit......I forget right now but I'll hit you later. have a great day!

I had a 50/50 trip up to Maine this weekend. Ate something that made me sick for all of Saturday so I missed what is probably the best creek run in the north east (Gulf Hagas). It's an awesome hike if anyone ever gets up there, but I was hoping to paddle my plastic "yacht" down it's falls. I was a bit jealous of my...

It's funny you mention getting back to drawing. I saw the Guston drawing retrospective this week and knew previously/decided at the show I have to do tons of drawings.

I'm planning on staying in Boston this summer, I'm on a BU "work crew" aka wall painter of gallieries and also I might *crossing fingers* be TAing a summer Boston art academy. I just recieved the email today about it so it would be great to do. Also I'm working on the BYC which has it's opening July 18th if you want to check it out!

PS. I'm jealous of your sailing ways.

That looks nice and the scenery is so pretty. That is better mileage than I expected.

THanks! I can't believe one year is down, thank god. Now I'm off to clean my studio and pick a new one for next year! Where are you going to be on the east coast?

totally wired and tired
I just got back home from 6 weeks in Colorado. Left on Saturday night and pulled in here about an hour ago.
As I drove along 70 from Denver to Columbus, then up to 80 to finish the drive to (almost) NYC I thought of all the SG people who live along that route. Would have been nice to stop (but...

I'll bet it was beautiful. Loved the sound of all of it....except the burying the dead dog part of the story.

Change your passwords.

A few people were hacked and were sending out spam. It's easy to spot when friends are sending out uncharacteristic ads.

I was lucky to catch it from my end and change my password to keep someone from using my name. I apologize to anyone who received spam from me.

Hooray for Durango. Finally in Colorado. I don't really mind the plains. they kind of remind me of the ocean. Lts of sky. Lots and lots of sky. but, for some reason I am just much happier with mountains around.

I've spent the past two days working a super early shift (3 - 8 am) in my friend's bakery in Ignacio, called Sundown Grill and...

Have an awesome time and way to bake for the goodness of the people. I appreciate bakeries such as your friends.

I'm sure your art supplies miss you too and will be happy when you are back with more creative energy. Have fun!

It does sound like your new locale will provide you with plenty of inspiration.

NYC area to Asheville, NC to middle of nowhere on the Georgia/South Carolina line and now in Little Rock, AR

I brought a bunch of boats down for the guys that work with me at the Asheville demo center and the timing worked out so I could catch the reception for this fund raiser I painted some helmets for.

It was worth the wait. The sun was immediately downstream so shooting photos from upstream was not an option. So, we got photos from the side. The wave does not look as huge as it really is from this angle, but it shows the freestyle trick better.

Enjoy the animated GIF

The local rivers here are in flood, which makes all of the whiteater kayakers and river surfers come out of the wood work and do the happy dance while everyone else looks in horror. Many of us spent all day yesterday staring at this one spot on the river; a wave called "Strike Three", that only comes in every few years. The level had actually gone...

i think sometimes i get really stubborn and think if smethings worth doing then do it yourself lol. i have neglected my photography in favour of my modelling but its because i find it easier to get taken more seriously as a model than as a photgrapher. the idea was to put photography on the back burner while i concentrate on modelling but sometimes keeping my ideas inside is very frustrating lol. all that suffer for my art shit. really i should get out there and shoot. im taking saturday as my starting point and going from there. x x
