here's a spanish haiku I wrote. It was originally better two years ago when I came up with it, but I can't remember the ending. It even has a pun in it. translations 25 cents. I have more spanish haiku but i don't know where I fucking put them.

Yes . . . please translate. I adore cummings' work. It looks just as beautiful in portuguese . The playful wordplay shines through.

Fog is mysterious, thick & heavy and comes sliding, sneaking right down to the ground. A taste of flying without actually leaving the earlth. Haze puts rainbow halos around the moon, is gone by noon and brings good vibes to a room. Tee hee!

Back to our yoga conversation, I agree with you on bikram. While it is nice to really get the heat and sweat, I really didn't feel that any of the instructors were interested in helping me deepen and develope my practice outside of their little yoga sphere. Luckily, I have an amazing rappartee with my body when it comes to yoga. I find that I can make small adjustments and really focus in on extending a stretch and slowly relaxing into it. Hmmmm . . . now I feel like doing a few postures. I think I have been sitting here too long this evening. Poor spine . frown

Better bop off for some brief strectching and most likely something resembling Monty Python to lull me to sweet slumber.

I am super happy. see I'm a major language geek. THere's no rush like successfully completing a task in another language for the language geek.
here's a list of low key language thrills:

Thanks for the amusing links. I must say that "Girl, I love love your sense of humor."

I will respond to your very intelligent comments about yoga later, when my brain is working, and I have time to formulate a proper response. skull *stari zombie work zombie stari* skull

Tee hee! You said "4:20". *giggles more*

You're silly... Have you checked to see whether they come in other flavors? Latin, maybe...? What's the status on your french site? Wouldn't want you to spread yourself too thin here! tongue

one thing u-blog has going for them is their excellent automatic Bosch theme. tres chic.

yes! I now have a french blog. unfortunately there will be a delay in interesting comments there until I remember/learn french. even though french and portuguese have some phonetic similarities, and holo-logues- words that sound the same / mean nearly the same thing, the spelling in french just kills me.

I still say french is the revenge of the conquered gaul on the invading romans....

If anyone has not seen this site, weeble and bob are awesome. If you are using mozilla there seems to be no sound, but it works in Konquerer, IE etc.

Sorry to hear that your portable tuneplayer is dying. My sweetest has recently been through the consumer search for a new player for his commute (35 minutes morning and night), and he needed something with major skip protection and also something that would play MP3s. After going through 2 cheaper players (a Rio and something else), he finally laid down the cash ($80) for a Sony, which he loves. So . . . moral of story, Sony = good. (Sorry I'm babbling this morning.)

Yoga is low on my list too. Just because you can practice at home and I haven't really been diligent enough to feel that I am worthy of practicing with a yogi again. frown I have done Bikram, but it is WAY expensive; and I would really love to learn how to deepen my practice more as a meditation and not so much as a physical workout, so I'm stuck trying to find a yogi and method that really will give me the focus that I am looking for. Gah!

Okay . . . gotta work . . . bye!
welntaod:
Yep, yep...Sony works well, better with act of god coverage from the store you bought it from. Then, it'll really be jog-proof! wink

f+ck. I had all these really "deep" thoughts while I was running. Now there all gone in a haze of post excercize stupidity.
at least I'm getting better with the running. Van Halen makes me faster. endorphine dreams.

I've been reading the ikea catalog. I hope that whole "nesting" problem doesn't happen to me like in fight club. THat was cool. I probably don't have the funds to have that problem.

I guess it comes from a crisis mentaility, but as a teen I developed...

Will you be able to make it through December? It really sounds like you are eager to get out. Yay for moving!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the PDX capoeira listing. I'm hoping to seriously check it out after the whole christmas hoo-ha. I'm going to try to get involved in a regular physical practice of some sort. Here's my tentative list: intermediate yoga, belly dance, classical Indian ballet, tango, and now capoeira. Now I just need to find some time and $$$$.

I'm so sorry that the site ate your initial comment. SG was acting all funky when I was on last night too. I get the feeling that they may have to upgrade the servers. The site is probably getting a ton of traffic what with all the exposure it's been getting lately.

La-la-la-later . . . surreal

I came home and my mother was chewing me out because she couldn't get online all day . I had unplugged mine from the phone upstairs, and...

I'm glad you like the new avatar. I now have a rotating set for all my emotions . . . well actually, most of my emotions. Enough to give me some slightly anonymous variety. I have completely fallen in love with Juno Mizumo's art. Between discovering it and SG, I'm getting some great ideas for a few art projects of my own. This pleases me very much. biggrin

I still stand in awe of your language skills. Wowie with extra wow! I sort of studied french for three years and I suck. I keep thinking that I should really learn a second lauguage, but I just can't seem to come to any sort of decision about which one it would be. Arrrrrghhh! Curse my indecisiveness! You are pretty amazing for a dilletante.

Capoeira sounds very neat. Your mentions got me out on the web learning more. I really like the idea of combining elements of dance with martial arts. I wonder if there are any instructors here in PDX? I will have to investigate further.

Hope that yer mommie was properly humble. Tee hee! Poor mommie. At least your's uses a computer. I can't even get my mommie to write me email. frown

Late afternoon wishes for a pleasant and most mellow Sunday evening . . . it is all grey clouds and samba music here on the pacific coast. *smiles*with extra smiles*

I get free coffee at the coffee shop I used to work with. Well, really it's not free, since part of the secret hookup-contract is that you tip the person comping you, and there's this lady outside that I always feel compelled to give money to.
It's weird, it's been a year since I've had my current job, and 10 months since I quit the...
