I spend my Saturday walking around downtown portland drinking coffee and smoking and eating hummus wraps and people-watching and watching a movie. I don't think I said anything to anyone between 8AM and 4PM except "Large black" and "hummus" and "Broken Flowers". And probably "thank you". I always say "thank you" out of habit. Sometimes being completely alone among a lot of people is really fun. But it's also lonely.
