30 minutes to clean off my car today. It was an interesting process, cutting through the snow and then moving pieces off at a time. It was almost like a brownie tray. Once that first piece came out it was much easier.

Our place is a complete disaster zone right now. Boxes and furniture everywhere as we prep and plan for the Friday/Saturday move.

The cats are loving the mayhem.

It is cold out. Not shrug your shoulders cold. Punch you in the stomach, make you wonder what the body can handle cold - especially after spending the past 4 "winters" in LA and San Diego.

I'm really enjoying it though.

Less than 2 weeks left in our apartment - then moving into a house. Can't wait.

Spent the weekend in Brooklyn (Friday) and Manhattan (Saturday). NYC is so awesome but it kicks my ass every time.

We just popped open a bottle of prosecco to cap the 4-day-weekend.

Nice and relaxing but we made our way out and about just enough.

Updated my profile pics finally. Been forever.

4 day weekend has started well and we're getting visitors from DC today. Can't wait.

Nervous. Might get an incredible writing opportunity for a major newspaper. Submitted my writing sample for the finalist round and have no idea what their timeline is. Wish me luck.
