I have returned from my first ever trip to Madison, Wisconsin.

The cast was taken off today, followed by the stitches being taken out. I've got a splint on (almost to my elbow), and it's going to be there for the next 6 weeks.

I'll have reconstructive surgery on my thumb on Thursday. Tore the ulna collateral ligament on my left hand as well as fractured the sesnoid...but broke it so bad it doesn't matter because it split completely and won't affect anything.
Rehab on its way after 6 weeks of keeping the thumb/hand immobilized.
Ain't that a bitch!

re: Coldplay- That's a good one, but "Amsterdam" floors me. The live DVD/CD is worth picking up for that and "Trouble" alone. I have no idea why they didn't put "Trouble" on the CD; when the crowd sings, it gives me freakin chills.

They are a side project for Chino (lead singer of the Deftones), and were pretty solid. More mellow version of the deftones, but still that bit of edge and darkness to it. Drummer ripped some shit up. Probably about 400-500 people there so it was full but not crowded, which is always a plus.
