I should read one of Gladwell's books. I've seen him a couple times on BookTV.
Ravens did pretty well. (I still don't really go for Boller-as-starter much.)

Just saw an advanced screening of "Kong" at the Senator theater in Towson.

While I can't say it's an equal to any of the LOTR movies...it is still damn good and the effects are incredible.

Denver this weekend. Never been and I'll get to hang out with a friend on Saturday night, so that will be fun.

Kong pissed me off. 200 million + and that was that? Dont get me wrong, the WIP I saw was damn nice, and a good movie to boot (how can it not be with WETA and PJ?)...but I just didnt understand how the payroll for it spiraled out of control.

I understand what you mean. In the space of like thirty minutes I can go from wearing a suit talking up Brian Henson to a hoodie and jeans making fart jokes with friends. I like to think it helps us keep grounded, because without those doses of reality, I can understand how some people can totally lose their way.

5 down...eleven to go.

My friends Sonjay and Ashmita were up from Raleigh yesterday so we were able to get a couple drinks and chill last night.

Locally, one of my best friends (since third grade) and his wife told us last night that she is pregnant for the first time...ah the times they are a changing.

Pretty scary to see my last entry was right as Katrina hit and I had just returned from New Orleans.

Tonight I work until 10pm then work Sunday

Wednesday the 5th though isn't a bad day for me, I'm off all day then don't work until 1pm on Thursday.

Hurricanes and handgrenades were the touristy beverages of choice Thursday evening. We flew back after the game, getting into B-more at 4 am, and me getting back from work at 6 am. Still drowsy, but now we're home for 4 weeks in a row...so life is good.

Also sucks I can only check SG from home, so I'm way behind being in touch and checking...

My big news today...a month and a half later I have finally been able to move the thumb on my left hand enough to reach the pinkie finger. Can only move it down the very top tip, but it's a start. Rehab...rehab...rehab.
