The cast was taken off today, followed by the stitches being taken out. I've got a splint on (almost to my elbow), and it's going to be there for the next 6 weeks.
Physical therapy starts in the morning. I'm currently at a stage relative to that of Uma Thurman in the back of the "Pussy Wagon" saying "wiggle your big toe." Pretty pathetic.
I did just book a flight to Madison, WI from the 13th to the 17th to go hang out with a great friend I haven't seen for a while. Will likely be my last trip before the season begins.
