Last night at the Recher Theater: Team Sleep.
They are a side project for Chino (lead singer of the Deftones), and were pretty solid. More mellow version of the deftones, but still that bit of edge and darkness to it. Drummer ripped some shit up. Probably about 400-500 people there so it was full but not crowded, which is always a plus.
Now I see that Mike Doughty is playing there at the end of June and Colin Hay (Men at Work and has a great song on the Garden State soundtrack) is playing the Recher in August.
I purchased a shredder yesterday. No, not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figure...just always feeling uncomfortable throwing mail away that has any info on it.
Nuff for now...hope the holiday weekend is what you were expecting and needed.
